A very helpful receptionist kindly assisted me on my first visit. As it was an unplanned visit they checked with my friend firsthand if this would be ok with them .. I was offered refreshments while I waited. I spent time with my friend in his lovely room overlooking a well kept garden.. I had a very good experience on the first floor (Darwin Unit) as a second year Mental Health Student. I had so many opportunities to learn about residents living with dementia. The team made me feel welcome and valued. I really appreciate their support and would recommend this home to work for and to bring your loved ones for care support.

I visited Cambridge Manor for the first time today to run a music group. The care and kindness of the staff towards the residents was immediately striking and there was an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness throughout the home. The new activity of Tai Chi introduced at Cambridge Manor, has brought great benefit to all the residents. As it helps build up strength, improves mobility and mental alertness. The teacher is very good at explaining all the different moves so makes the exercise easy to follow.

Cambridge Manor is a lovely care home with kind compassionate caring staff and management providing all round care for it’s residents. I am fortunate to be part of the team supporting residents with their wellbeing. We have daily activities and offer person centred engagements by getting to really know our residents and their loved ones. It’s a pleasure to be able to help others in this way and be the reason they enjoy their day.
