Rude receptionists who give you INCORRECT INFORMATION, if you can get through they want to palm you off to 111 as quickly as possible, when 111 send a referral to them they choose to fob you off to 111 again! Wasted a whole day between this surgery and 111 to get absolutely nowhere! Their certainly not bothered about your health or well-being they just want you to die. I would like a call from the Practice Manager to explain why they treat patients like this

To be perfectly honest, this doctor surgery should be shut down and struck off. I am appalled as a visitor over Christmas. My friend needed a doctor urgently. We turned up at the surgery. They got told at a full capacity he could hardly breathe got told call 111, they told us to go back in and sit there. They refused to see him in the end to wait six hours for 111doctor to prescribe him with antibiotics. He is still struggling. I’ve called back today for an appointment, I’ve been told they don’t do In advance whatsoever Appointments with the very short sounding abrupt woman!!! , they’re at full capacity got told call 111 again what is the point of this surgery I don’t get it I live in Leicestershire and my doctor surgery are fantastic. No way would my doctor, ever!!!! not see a patient !!! even if it meant him staying till 10 o’clock at night because he’s incredible!!, I am appalled and I feel very sorry for the people of BiddlesWade and therefore I’m going to encourage my friend to leave. I suggest you do the same that way they’ve got no one to moan about no patience to worry about and they can all go home early at 6 o’clock, which is obviously what they wanna do . They couldn’t care less. Their attitude is awful when you’re poorly you need sympathy care and immediate attention not being fobbed off and told that they are full capacity every day. It’s awful and I am going to put in an official complaint.

No idea why this place has poor reviews. I was seen straight away and they were lovely.

Very difficult to get an appointment without going to the centre itself at 8am.
No access to e-consult or similar which could alleviate this issue, and even when I get in the queue exactly when the lines open, i can't get an appointment. Annoyingly they still allow people into the queue (which can be an hour long) even if appointments are already full - they could change the phone message for people just starting the call but just don't.

Edit: Biggleswade health centre has added online appointment booking! The phone line does still not tell you if all appointments have been booked up for the day, so you can waste an hour. Still - some improvement is very welcome.

The service I as a senior citizen received from the Doctors and receptionists at the practice is second to none!!!!! It’s just a shame that patients do not always turn up for appointments and a large number of people use the car park to shop cheaply in Aldi etc !!!!!! Luckily for me I can visit either of the 3 surgeries!!!!! Well done Saffron!!!!!!

Having recently moved to Biggleswade I was worried about changing my GP. However I’m delighted to say that so far my experience has been very positive. Phone answered promptly and politely. The young lady on reception was lovely, polite and professional all with a smile( 5 stars)

The previous review was written 3 months ago when I moved to the area, today I feel the need to alter it after the receptionist put the phone down! A formal complaint will be made (zero stars)

Horrendous. I have been living with a chronic condition since 2019 and not once seen a GP nor had had my bloods done, despite consultant's requests.

You can never get through to them on the phone and when you use a system online there are no appointments available. I even used SystmOnline where you order medication to make an urgent request for a blood test (as my meds require me to have it regularly) and was told that I needed to call them to organise. Which I couldn't do in the first place. How is this allowed in this day and age, is beyond me. 1 star given, as I couldn't give 0.

My first experience today of Biggleswade Health Centre was faultless. The staff that I had contact with (receptionist & nurse), were polite, professional, informative & friendly. I was seen on time and I was efficiently dealt with.
