I have been with this GP service long before it became York medical group and last week was the first time I saw a GP who knew me well with a student. I must say I had a very successful and confident appointment. Not only was I reassured but I was confident also. Considering woodthorpe surgery has trainees alongside the GP I must say how great I was treated and how much effort goes in to making sure each patient is listened too and examined appropriately. I would say this was 5 star service from start to end and would definitely attend here again if my local surgery wasn't available!

Has taken 10 days just to get an appointment absolutely abysmal. When going for a blood test sat 14th nurse very off hand I asked a question and was informed don't know have just so many minutes per patient. When trying to get appointment was number 30 in queue finally got through and asked to ring back next day all appointments gone told to ring 111who would assess and then actually get me an appointment with the doctor.
