I had an appointment today with a lovely nurse and chaperone to have my IUD removed. They made me feel so comfortable and the process was over & done within 15 minutes. Unfortunately I don’t remember the nurses name but felt I had to give some positive feedback given the low rating of the centre. Looks to be purely driven by the booking system rather than the centre itself.

It surprises me that there are so many negative reviews. The reception staff member was polite enough. I didn’t wait long. The consultant was thorough, helpful, professional and reassuring. The nurse also was as above. I’d recommend my experience.

Booking an appointment through PHR was a total pain and I'd prefer to be able to call up to book even a few weeks in advance or something if they're swamped for the immediate.

Once I managed to book though, the staff are amazing throughout. Really knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I was called for my appointment only a few minutes or so late (so essentially on time).

Got my birth control implant sorted here in July. Hannah is the most gentle and professional doctor I have ever met in this country. I am usually very afraid of anything involving injections, but Hannah was so skilled that I didn’t even feel any pain. I never expected such high-quality service from the NHS. Very impressive!!!!!! Thank you so much!

Thank god I don’t have hiv thank god I’m clear I did the test with the nurse The nurse had a trainee with her I got a text message after I done all the tests to say they have failed even though I’ve done it correctly from my side it was then handed over to a trainee nurse enough said and I don’t think the reception staff are at all helpful politeness is free.

I had an appointment with Helen today and cannot thank her enough for looking after me. She gave me an abundance of advise and information, thoroughly looked after me and made me feel at ease the whole time. As long as you are on the online forum at 8.30am, you can choose an appointment slot for the next day. Thanks so much I had a very pleasant visit!

Nurse Fiona and the lady at the reception were very nice, especially Fiona, who kept comforting me not to panic, and explained how to take my medication and how to use a swab. I know it was my fault for my sexual health accident, but they were really patient and kind all the time. I am truly grateful to them!

Had an appointment for treatment with Helen, unusual thing to say for a sexual health appointment but she made enjoyable and put me at ease very quickly. All the staff i've met at the Hathersage have been brilliant and she's another absolute asset to the service.
