I just want to say what a fantastic service I received today in the breast screening department. All the staff were incredible, friendly, caring and explained everything to me, it is very well organised too! The hospital just requires better parking facilities as this was pretty stressful.

Recently went to dermatology department for suspicious mole on back. Luckily nothing to worry about. They kindly did a c and c procedure on it has it was raised and catching in things. Waiting time really good. Took about ten minutes or so. Staff really caring friendly and polite. So thank you to you all for your kindness and professionalism. Really appreciate it.

Complete and utter waste of space. I waited one day short of a year. I kept a photo diary of everything that was wrong. Th dermatologist had absolutely no interest in this. I was an hour late in to my appointment. The two people to prior to me had 30 minutes each. I got 10 minutes before my dermatologist got up and went and stood by the door to indicate it was time to go. I carried on talking but she wasn’t interested. She just kept talking over me. I don’t know how a decision can be made without the full information. Absolutely appalled!! What a waste of everyone’s time, especially mine. Now to get a second opinion I’ll have to wait another year and I’m worried I have lupus!!

8 lifts but only 4 working, is there no maintenance team? Been like that over a week that I've been coming, also who had the bright idea to put Haematology on O floor? You come in for chemotherapy and are crammed into a lift for 14 floors then the nurses ask if you have been near anyone with a cough or cold! Come on hallamshire, cancer patients should be able to use the nurses/ Drs lift to keep safe.

If I could give 10 stars⭐️🌟to the team at Dermotology I would they were amazing, extremely kind and caring. I had a procedure from a private provider which went wrong. The Dermotology team saved my day. Thanks a zillion to them

It's a good hospital with great staff as with most NHS hospitals it could do with better funding . Parking is limited as it was built when there were less cars about .at first visit it's a daunting site as it can seem difficult to find your way around but after a couple of visits it all seems fairly quickly to become straightforward. On the times I have needed to go staff do amazing work , it's just a shame they don't have the funds to help more people

My elderly father went to a&e with a suspected stroke, waited almost 2hours to be triaged then over 2 hours again in clinical assessment. Placed on a ward for 3 days due to the stroke he had had, on the third day in the morning, told he could go home that day but then waited over 8 hours for discharge papers and tablets. He was incredibly stressed which obviously didn’t help his blood pressure or his health in general. Whenever we asked we were told they’d check on progress, no follow up, no communication, disgusting

The staffs are incredibly friendly…everyone. As a foreigner I really appreciate how helpful and patient they are in navigating the way and informing me of everything. The waiting is very slow, but I guess it’s like this everywhere in England.
