I am appalled by this surgery.
I was told by the practitioner to book a blood test. I booked this for a week later and at PAH, I arrived for my appointment at the hospital and no information had been sent to PAH for what to test for. I waisted my time and money as I had to get a taxi, as well as the time of the nurse at PAH. I called the surgery to get my info sent to the hospital and no one could help me, I was repeatedly told that nothing could be done as everyone was either in clinic or in a meeting.
I have been to appointments and had to wait 45+ mins passed my booked appointment time to be seen. I have been prescribed over the counter medicine (paying double the price) and My partner has had prescriptions misplaced. I have been seen by the GP, and misdiagnosed meaning a hospital visit 2 days later. I saw the practitioner and was told, if symptoms persist after having medication to rebook an appointment, I can’t get a new appointment for 2 weeks even though I was asked to come back, and the originally prescribed medication hasn’t worked and I was instructed couldn’t be used for more than 7 days anyway!! So now I have to wait another 14 days with the problem still causing me issues. This surgery is diabolical

The most useless GP in Great Britian. Repeated my phone number twice for an emergency appointment adn they never rung back. I called back after the weekend and they told me they couldn't get through to my number, turns out they had the COMPLETELY wrong phone number. Then told me to call back at 2 because they had no more appointments. Called back at 2 and my phone has been endlessly ringing for 30 minutes. Given up now. Useless. Absolutely usless. Glad to see my tax money is going down the toilet.

Absolutely fantastic service, it's the second time I've had to use this surgery as a temporary DR's for my granddaughter. She was staying with me and she had an uncontrollable cough, i didn't have an appointment but when my son explained what was wrong with her they told us to come in straight away. The lady Dr and nurse were brilliant and got her breathing under control and gave her some medication. I know people moan about their doctors all the time but I'm so glad i joined this surgery. Even for myself and my husband we have always been seen if we need emergency appointment's. All the staff are really great. Thank you

Dangerously incompetent and passive aggressive management attitude. Will be taking to higher levels because this is dangerous.
I take life dependant medication, it’s NEVER ready on time. I moved to boots pharmacy who put in 2 urgent requests on my behalf. They still didn’t send my prescription and left me at the mercy of a kind pharmacist. When confronted they told me they didn’t know that they had to post it. Utter rubbish. Boots pharmacy couldn’t believe the level of incompetence.
I had bloods taken and instead of going to an appointment made on my behalf I rung up the surgery and asked for a phone consultation instead. Reception forgot to cancel my initial appointment and now I’m penalised for missing an appointment. When confronted no apology. I’ll be moving surgeries because this isn’t the first case of life threatening incompetence. Staff always chatting about their personal life whilst sick patients wait to be attended to.

Not all by any means, but some receptionists and several doctors are rude and incompetent. Opening hours are a joke for anyone with a job and the pharmacy is not fit for purpose. The practice nurses are great, helpful and caring.

The village doctors surgery.
This is a small surgery, with its own pharmacy, waiting room, helpful receptionists, dedicated medical staff, and a free car park.
Thank you for all your efforts, and taking care of us with the limited staff and resources and a growing demand of patients.

Never normally have an issue until today. I questioned a new vaccine for my baby and the response and attitude i got was shocking. The fear mongering was unreal. Claimed it has been out for 50 years but in fact was made in 2006! Said my child will have educational implications going school and uni for not having it. Me, my sister, 2 nieces and cousins do not have this vaccine and never had any issues at all. Pneumonia vaccine is the vaccine im talking about. What a joke! Asked informational questions and got told "im not having an arguement"....... very unreasonable and defensive response when all i did was ask a few questions.
