Instead of sending me a generic copy and paste response on here, I would appreciate having a meaningful opportunity to discuss my experience with the practise manager.

I have never before had a receptionist shout bye and hang up the phone on me. This happened to me today. I had not been remotely abusive, I have just asked for help. Disgusting way to treat a patient in need.

The rapid health system has no way of capturing any nuance, like whether you have been on medication, how long for, and whether symptoms are still persisting. The system did not give me an appointment. I called the practise and was initially told that there are still plenty appointments left and that I must be filling out the form “wrong” and to do it again but with different answers. Still no appointment.

Different receptionist picks up second time. Rude from the get-go. Does not listen, interrupts me, and when I told her she was being rude when I’m only asking for some help, she shouts bye and puts the phone down.

Now I call and I get an automated response saying no appointments left. An hour wasted, all appointments gone, and all I got was abuse.

These people have no business being in patient facing roles when they lack basic manners and communication skills.

It's one of the best medical centre I've ever registered with, they are very professional, the medical centre is very clean, staff are very helpful and patient. They also have a free weight machine that you can use and free books to read and swap. Most services can be done online and registration is pretty quick and swift as compared to most other medical centres. It's located not too far from Canon retail park where you've got Tesco and Warwick Uni. I'll highly recommend it.

Since the pandemic in 2020, the GP services have gone dwn hill, if you require blood tests, or checks up on diabetes, weighing, midwife bookings then that's OK and your booked in fairly straight away..Anything else and your left hanging, when given blood for sugar levels if your a diabetes sufferer, why wait a month to offer the patient a telephone call to review meds? That's no good if the meds we on now run out in acouple of days away, absolutely ridiculous and shows you don't take anyone's health serious enough to put there condition in control, so when there meds run out we expected to hang on ? How many GP's in the surgery daily?.It takes a month to squeeze a call in does it? NHS needs a kick up the arse!! Poor service, and this online rapid ' book an appointment ' is crap, again you get booked in weeks later rather than the next day..🙄 what happened to ringing up at 08.30am to be guaranteed an appointment for that day? All that money spent on a new build that doesn't have patient's going in, cos u rather do telephone appointments to save face to face. We not in 2020 now, so stop acting like we in lockdwn and go back to how the GP services was..

Recently joined the practice and had to see the doctor due to my condition worsening. The appointment was made at short notice after a Pharmacy First visit. The practice accommodated me with a “can help “ attitude. The doctors I saw were immediately clued up to what medication was needed.
A very good medical centre from reception to doctors. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing GP!
As a family we have moved out to a separate city now but one thing we will regret leaving is this GP practice. I just wanna say a big thank you to the all the receptionists and doctors who made our journey so easy. Sad to leave this place but definitely recommend to register here 👍🏻

I used the practice on 2nd January. The process of getting an appointment was straightforward. I saw Dr Trinder who I haven't seen before. He is a very good GP. He explained things so well and gave me a whole new perspective on my health issue. He diagnosed my issue and gave me written instructions for an exercise to follow at home. The exercise is working!

I also wanted to give feedback on the (excellent) reception team, particularly about the tall blond lady (sorry I don't mean to sound patronising but I didn't see your name and I couldn't work it out from the practice website) who was on duty that day. The reception area was busy when I was there. The patient in front of me was not an English speaker and she was clearly anxious, waiting for some test results. She was trying to get the reception lady to speak to her friend on the phone but the signal wasn't good. The tall blond lady was just so kind and patient. She made me feel proud of the NHS.

I am very happy to be a patient of Forrest Medical Centre.
