Had a request from Addenbrookes hospital for blood tests went to the surgery and was told they no longer do these routinely. Live 12 miles from Addenbrookes and they had no suggestions as to where to get the tests done

Terrible surgery, impossible to get appointment or talk to anybody. New online form is a joke. Also funny how my reviews seem to be removed very quickly. Surgery states if you have a complaint please follow their process to file. I’ve done this several times and have never had a reply. Despite being diagnosed with a serious illness. Awful so called surgery.

Having moved to the area from a previously built up area, Bassingbourne/Ashwell Surgery is like a breath of fresh air. I know I'm going to be able to get through to the surgery via the telephone and am always offered some kind of help. The staff are very helpful. I understand it's difficult to get an appointment with an actual doctor but the triage system seems to work well. If my health requires a doctor, I am generally offered an appointment within the two weeks. Well done team, keep up the good work.

The service , or lack of is absolutely appalling . When poorly and needing to see a doctor you have to wait at least 10 days, generally longer. On several occasions we have had to go to A&E to get treatment. Bassingbourn practice is closed at lunchtime and for 2 half days during the week which is unacceptable and the reason it’s so hard to get an appointment I’m sure.
I would not recommend either Bassingbourn or Ashwell and will be registering elsewhere, Which is a shame as I have been a patient in Bassingbourn for 46 years but have absolutely no faith in the staff or the manner in which it is run.

So priviliged to have this as our local GP surgery. Exceptionally lovely office staff who always make time for a friendly word. Doctors and nurses all professional, supportive and patient too. I particularly appreciate how kind and supportive they've been when I've called to request an emergency appointment for my infant son.

Admin team (shared with ashwell) ruin this surgery- despite it being literally on my road I’m planning on switching to one far away as I’m so fed up with them not confirming prescriptions the the pharmacy, having extremely restrictive times where reception/ dispensary will take a call (e.g. to chase your already requested prescription you can only call between 10am-12). It’s an utter shambles. I’m on a long term prescription that hasn’t changed in years and yet still I have to miss doses because they don’t renew prescriptions in a timely manor. It’s also inconsistent on how and when they let you make an appointment- if you can go elsewhere I would advise it I’m afraid.

Brilliant Doctors. I registered here during covid, I have so far sent 3 econsults and they have all been replied to the same day. Both Doctors I've spoken to have been fantastic and caring.
