My relative has been at Lindens Care home for over 3 years. During this time she has been looked after with care and compassion from all the staff. The staff all work exceptionally hard to ensure that the residents are supported and encouraged to maintain their independence and individuality. Now that some of the COVID restrictions have been lifted they are welcoming visitors back into the home which is a positive step for everyone.

My father has been a resident for a year now and I am more than happy with him being here at Linden. I ask him each time if he is happy their and ha says he is. Its the cleanest I have seen him in 20 years! The owners and the staff are caring and helpful. The lounge areas are quite homely and warm, plenty of seating and of course TVs! They take great care with all CV19 measures whenever I enter. Keep up the good work please!

My dad has been in Lindens for 7 weeks now. I always said that I would not put him in a home. But the time came when he couldn't manage anymore. Local friends recommend Lindens, so I rang them and they had a room. He was in hospital for 3 months before going to Lindens after a brokenhip. He was weak and underweight when he went to Lindens. He has now put on 7kg, is walking around. Thanks to Ragu, Roshina and the caring staff he really has settled in. Its a beautiful old listed building and the care is 5 star. Its a home from home, everyone is friendly, happy and caring. He has a lovely room, he is always clean and well dressed. He definitely is enjoying all the home cooked meals. There are plenty of activities and he enjoys sitting in the lounge watching tv and chatting with everyone. A big thank you to all at Lindens from a very grateful Paul family.

After my father was discharged from hospital in January 2021 he resided at a care home in Bury for approx 10 months, the treatment he recieved was "ok", his words not ours.
In October 2021 due to a deterioration in his condition we made the decision to re-locate my father to the Lindens rest home, we live in Haslingden so this made perfect sense, we made plans for the inevitable.
My father passed away peacefully just before Christmas the compassion, dedication and kindness Ragu, Roshni and all the carers shown to both my father and our family during this brief yet very difficult time was amazing.
As a family we have nothing but our heartfelt appreciation, gratitude and utmost respect for all at the Lindens, many many thanks.

My mum has known Ragu and Roshni for some years and she stayed here few times and whilst recovering from a hip operation. So The Lindens is where she wanted to be when life at home became too much for her. What shines out for me is Ragu's and Roshni's dedication to their clients. They actually care and treat everyone like part of the family. This is a vocation for them and they work hard to actually care for everyone with compassion. The same can be said for the their staff too, nothing is too much trouble and they work so hard. I think because it's a small home, you wouldn't get the same intimate and warm care at a larger place. Care for older family is never going to be perfect or easy but this is as close as you can get. Thanks to everyone there.

I cannot believe anyone has anything bad to say about the Lindens as in my humble opinion it is simply not true.
I made a huge decision to move my loved one up from York and in doing so to move into the Lindens on a residential basis. This was eight months ago.
I am absolutely delighted with the genuine and professional care that she receives. Nothing is to much trouble for them.
Ragu, Roshni and their wonderful staff dedicate their lives to offer the finest of care which is done so amazingly well with compassion, understanding and if I dare say it…Love.
There is a remarkable improvement in all aspects of my loved ones health, wellbeing, mood and even mobility.
A home from home is all I wished for her and this is exactly what’s provided.
Thank you so much for lessening my worries.
You guys are the best!

I can only go off my experiences with Lindens. My mum has only been there for a relatively short time but during that time I have seen a change in my mum for the better, she has dementia and used to get very confused, scared and lonely previously but this has definitely lessened since being here. I find the carers really lovely, caring and enjoy banter with my mum (mum loves a good laugh!). I have complete peace of mind that my mum is being well looked after. I have met both owners which I also find to be really caring people as well. My mum always tells me how good the food is and what a comfortable bed she has. Yes, the place isn’t the most modern BUT it’s homely and I think this is what my mum needs. To her it feels more like a guest house than a “home”. Lindens - keep up the good work!

Just seen this om facebook and does not look like a place i would put a loved one gaping holes in windows cracked window all rotted single glazed amd massive cracks in the wall this place needs to be looked at as a care home u want it to be a calm safe and secure place now with single glazed windows and cracks in them im sure most residents would be terribly cold
...
This needs checking by services and really looking into as the care of these residents cannot be of a hire standard
