I was at junction 17 for 5 months . The care and support from the nursing staff and support workers was amazing the majority really do care . The only problems were to do with the mdt and clinical team but those involved with the 24/7 care on the ward I can’t thank enough . There are some amazing nurses there and go above and beyond to help everyone . This placed saved my life . I’m in adults now and am doing so much better I’m eager to get out of hospital and work in mental health . Junction 17 always gets a bad rep but they really helped me . Thank you 🙏

I was there years ago when it was called the mcguiness unit. It destroyed me as a person and I've lived with the consequences of my treatment there ever since so I guess they kept me alive but not a good life. Extremely traumatic place which gives me nightmares and horrendous flashbacks to this day and still relapse.

Systematic Torture of Patients.
Techniques akin to War Crime Tortures.
'Treatment' of Autistic Patients beyond sickening.
All those that have suffered from the non care of this place need to get together and take a joint case against them.

Most staff are nice people all bar the one who thinks it's okay to cut you off when your asking important medical questions. When you ask her not too she threatens to hang up when your simply attempting to get answers. In capable of prompting my child to take medication. Nearly got attacked as a result. Was led to believe would be on permanent medication then not given it in error. Massive error as like I said risked my safety. Disappointing and very poor attitude of an individual member of staff. Permanent meds never given decided to change back to PRN which are never being taken. My child's health is at its worst and I'm losing them all over again. It's just a job to them I get it my childs my life! HEARTBROKEN THANKS FOR NOTHING

Disgusting behaviour from you "staff". Bullying patients. Being cruel. Being extremely inappropriate. This is sickening. It's good that BBC and police are investigating. My heart goes out to the patients there.
