The level of service is appalling. The way a vulnerable family member has been treated by this surgery is disgusting and has left us with no alternative but to move practice. I recommend avoiding this toxic surgery and seeking health care elsewhere. You will not get it from here.

Would give no stars if I could. Absolutely despicable staff. They’re rude and can never get an appointment. They like to speak to people who aren’t very good at speaking English rudely and sarcastically. Absolute joke of receptionist. Sack the lot.

This has got to be the most unhelpful unfriendly place on the planet The staff are rude, ignorant and couldn't care less about the people they are supposed to be helping I cannot post what I would really like to post but if this place and it's employees are what the NHS is about then god help us all !!

Entirely impossible to get an appointment. I did manage to book an appointment for a cervical screening, had to wait 3 weeks. Fine. I turned up at my time of appointment, only to have the receptionists completely unsure who I was or when my appointment was. They were entirely unhelpful, told me to check next door in Acorn instead of offer to book me in again, apologise, or anything. Was really upset and stressed about it, ended up in the sexual health clinic in Acorn where they actually tried to help and booked me in with them instead. I won’t be returning, especially after reading other reviews. I’ll be looking for another practice.

Oswald medical centre you should be ashamed of yourselves, I am putting in a formal complaint to the medical ombudsman on how you have failed/ neglected my 82 year old mother in law , only did anyone do anything when social services got involved and were so appalled at the lack of care they also have made a complaint. This practice is failing, your receptionists are rude, uncaring & the most unhelpful set of people I've ever had to deal with. Myself & my family will be removing ourselves from this practice and going to one who actually cares. Dr Dixon & Dr Manuel would be appalled at how this practice has gone to the dogs and this would never had happened in their day!
I've only given 1 star as couldn't have given zero!!

After reading the dire reviews for Oswald Medical Centre, I chose not to ring up this morning (trapped nerve in shoulder, groin hernia) I went to the centre and was the only one there at 8am. I asked to make an appointment. No can do, said the receptionist. Look at the printed statement in front of you. I did. It told me how to bring a urine sample in... Sorry she says, it's the other statement on another window. It said only phone bookings between 8am and 10am. I said, Your reviews are really bad, especially relating to trying to get a phone booking. It says in reviews that you simply don't pick up. that's why I'm here. No, she says, you have to ring up. We're too busy to book people in at the desk, because the phones keep ringing (the phone's didn't ring). So, I went outside and rang up. an automated 'service' said they would ring me back. I was gobsmacked when I actually did get a call some 30 mins later. It was the same women who sent me packing earlier. Hi, I said, It's the chap who was at the desk 30 mins ago. Can I book a......... and she hung up.
It really does appear that the centre has gone to the dogs and the receptionists are a law unto themselves.
I shall ring around later to try to change my practice and find another doctor. I suggest you do the same.
