I have had two blood tests in the last month and the two nurses, male and female were both fantastic. Very friendly and caring. They were both so gentle l never felt the needle. And they both sore me on time if not before. A very big thank you to them both. What a very good service.

I had a very caring and a non rushed appointment with Dr Nash excellent communicator and explained everything clearly and in layman's terms. Did not clock watch and offered a number of options. Reception attentive and welcoming. An excellent practice ethos of care.

Went for blood tests with nurse Rosie, what a lovely lady, very kind and caring!
When I explained I had an ECG booked in the day after she offered to do it there and then to save me another trip the following day, she explained the process throughout as I had never had one done before and felt quite anxious. She put me at ease and made me feel valued, what a star, can’t praise her highly enough, she a credit and an asset to Ryan Medical Centre

I've been avoiding GPs for the past few years due to repeatedly not being taken seriously, or straight up being denied because I'm trans. However, yesterday I had my first appointment since registering at Ryan, and I think I spoke to the nicest GP I've seen in a very long time. He was friendly, patient and made me feel like I could talk about what's going on. He walked me through options yet never pressured me in any way. I almost felt compelled to bring up all the concerns I've accumulated regarding my health, because finally someone is listening, but one step at a time! I've been to my share of practices and this was the first time I've ever felt emboldened to ask if I can have my preferred name in the system, and he kindly instructed me how to sort that and fixed my name on the appointment card.

In this day and age I know I am lucky to even get a doctor's appointment but when you are quite a lot of pain that affects your daily life it is unacceptable to have to wait a week and be refused a more urgent appointment because the receptionist says you are routine. The doctors however are very knowledgeable and professional when you eventually get to see them. The front facing staff are often verging on the rude which makes the patient journey very stressful but having said that the doctors are great. The surgery would be much improved with better patient handling and some respect at the initial phone call.

New Doctor in the practice. She was excellent. Fantastic manner. Put at ease and very friendly. Made an embarrassing consult very easy and comfortable. She is going to make a very good GP for any practice.

First visit today having moved from another local practice. I’d been called in for a pneumonia vaccine even though I’m not old enough so asked why and get told I’ve got a fairly serious issue that my previous practice didn’t follow up. Thank goodness I changed practices
