Third time in this hospital, as usual the experience was second to none. From arriving to leaving, the sense of team work and the contentment of the staff was very obvious, however, the bedside manner of one female doctor left me wondering if she actually likes being a doctor? I won't go into detail but lets say her empathy, observation and general demeanor were very sub-par, leaving the ward Sister to complete a basic procedure on a later ward visit. That being said, I did enjoy the always happy and enthusiastic chats with the ward staff. Catering is great and the galley staff are also very helpful. Big shout out to Louisa and Vicky, who are obviously great team leaders!

Everyone was lovely from coming into reception, my porter, nurses, anaesthetist team, theatre team, catering team, physio and my consultant Mr Kumar. Michaela was amazing looking after me before and after my operation, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone made me feel safe, assured and comfortable. I felt cared for as a person and not just a name on a list. Definitely recommend the hospital for having procedures done with care and professionalism. The aftercare I’ve received so far is above expectations too.

I was a day case and simply everything was great, nursing staff, porters, catering, consultant, Theatre staff, everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease. I guess the real test for me was how I felt after the operation, after the general anaesthetic. I came around quick and had zero adverse effects. The consultant Mr Patel who operated on my knee is just fantastic. Great to see in this world of negativity there are these little oasis of positivity.

Just been discharged from the Lancaster Hospital following knee replacement surgery and would like to thank all members of staff for their care and attention. From reception to nursing team and catering and housekeeping nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Professor Patel for his expertise and proficiency. Thanks also to Stephanie for her organisation and help.

I recently had a shoulder operation at Lancaster Hospital. The service by the Reception staff on arrival, all the way through the day until the Porter took me by wheelchair to a vehicle was first class. It couldn’t have been better, what a pleasant reassuring experience it was. Special thanks must go to the Surgeon Mr Kumar, my nurses Louisa , Donna and Mr Copeland with his Theatre Staff. Thank you all. David.

I found my experience in hospital lovely , I always felt the staff were very caring, and I was never made to feel I was a nuisance. I was very nervous when I first went in but everyone soon made me feel at ease. I just appreciated everything all the staff did for me a big thank you to everyone. Mr Magra, the theatre staff, the nurses, physio, anaesthetist, the caterers and the porters.

If I could give more than a five-star review, I genuinely would. Right from the outset meeting with the post-operative team (Angela) I just knew that this hospital would be the perfect place for me to have my treatment. My surgeon Matt Dawson was absolutely fantastic and everybody within the hospital certainly played a crucial role and delivered on every expectation. Unfortunately, I cannot remember all of the wonderful staff's names, however from the reception staff to the porters, to the nurses to the pharmacist, to the physiotherapist and the wonderful lady who supplied me with endless amounts of hot and cold beverages and delicious food, my overall experience at this hospital was outstanding. Thank you very much for everything you've done for me and in the nicest possible way, I hope not to see you again for a long time :-). Best wishes to you all.
