My Dad recently had some time here as his health had deteriorated a lot in a short period of time. Had been in Ipswich Hospital prior to coming here. The staff at Felixstowe are amazing. Can’t thank them enough for looking after him with care and compassion. From all of our family a massive thank you. X

This is a first class second tier hospital. It performs minor procedures but has no Accident and Emergency. It is about two minutes from Hamilton Road, a perfect shopping street, but has private rooms instead of wards and bays. Smaller scale hospitals should all be like this, great for recuperating and with good food.

Thank you so much for seeing my son so quickly after he had injured himself. The staff were so kind and lovely. The nurse who treated my son was excellent and made my boy feel at ease and content. Thank you again.

Never had anything but amazing caring support from these wonderful people until a week ago. Met a member of staff not seen before who rude,abrupt, unfriendly and today I established a down right liar. Stated i refused to wear a mask, no exempt, stated I refused viser, no rudely told to stand outside and wait for one, Do I feel enthused to go back now.. no. So rude to younger member of staff and me, then put on notes I the issue!!! If the nurse untruthful do I want to return?

I attended an appointment with the Audiology department at 11.30am today, 9th August. I went in on time , the audiologist sat me down and explained what was to be done. She examined both ears then showed me to a soundproof booth, put head Phones on my head, and asked if I was OK about closing the door.
From beginning to end she was very good at explaining everything.
I left wearing my new hearing aids.
It was a good experience, largely due to the care and professionalism of the Audiologist. A+++

I was surprised to come on here and see below a review that I now want to write. I was treated by a member of staff appallingly and will be taking it further. Although other members of staff so lovely. But my experience if visiting my father in law here was distressing and painful. So much that I do not wish anyone else to have to encounter the rudeness and uncaring manner that I was treated to.

This is the best.! I have been a patient for past 20 years virtually continual, therefore I should know. From the receptionists to every grade of nursing staff...I have never found any member to be anything other than friendly professional persons. I have seen them treat all kinds of patients....and even downright rude and abusive patients....but still give their best. We all may be, not so pleasant, ourselves when in pain, I should know as on continuous morphine, but the staff still give 5 star treatment/service. Keep it up. Love you all.

Rude reception staff . Wouldn't advise a walk in without an appointment from 111 although it states they deal with minor injuries, doesn't appear that they deal with anything they don't have to and would rather send people out of the way to Ipswich hospital instead. Nurses have always been lovely anytime i have visited in the past however.
