People talk about reducing waiting times but the telephone message when you call gives you so much speil your listening for about 5mins, your then at least number 10 in the cue they then tell you that you have to wait 6 weeks for an appointment and there is no way around that. I am sure there are some people that have died while Waiting! In fact if your illness doesn't finish you off then the wait certainly will.

Sat waited and waited forever for my appointment about my prostate test results ,dreadful does care receptionists attitude with bag of sweets next to her ( not the best professional impression I can assure you ). Doctor said "what did I came in for" when I finally went in, yet they sent me an appoinment to come into the surgery about my test results, just terrible I felt like a number not human. Talk about stressful . It's not a game it's people health.

The receptionists are awful. Not helpful at all. I rang to say that my 3-year-old had lumps on her neck and was told I couldn't have an appointment till at least a month's time! Ridiculous I also had to do it online to see if I could get one. She's 3 years old for god's sake!

Dr Opie and Katie Hughes were fantastic today. Both were extremely helpful and accommodating of myself and newborn on his 8 week check. Both went above and beyond and was seen on time. All concerns dealt with swiftly and professionally. Wonderful people. Thank you

Came with my mum today and she unknowingly parked in a staff area since we were in a rush. After coming out of the appointment, in which the doctor was lovely, we found out that a staff member had not only blocked our car but two others despite there being an available space which was not taken the entire time she was there. By the way, the only available non staff parking is disabled, which we did not want to park in since we are not disabled. She then inquired with the staff who gave her little to no answers. After talking with the upstairs staff, a short fella who walked around as if he owned the place came up to us and feigned kindness came up to us and offered to help. As soon as we got outside, he began lecturing us as if we were school children about parking in a staff spot, A which we didn’t know about and B which my mum couldn’t have apologised enough for. My mum began to get very emotional very quickly, as she has recently lost her brother and escaped from an abusive relationship. I was also feeling a bit emotional, since I had just come out of a doctors appointment about my mental health. After at least 5 minutes of lectures from someone who looked to be a janitor, the staff member who’s place we had parked in and who had blocked us from leaving came out. My mum went to apologise, but before she could even get a word out, she was met with an equal amount of aggressiveness. She then drove off and the short man scurried back inside. I then had to console my mum as she is not used to so much conflict.

The doctor was lovely and thats the only reason why I will still reside at the practice.

I must give a big Thank You to Pat on reception this morning. Some of my medications hadn't arrived but she sorted it out for me. An absolute STAR.

It's July 1st 2021 tomorrow and I turn 60 in a few months' time and I still haven't been offered a second vaccine jab by Church Street Medical. I don't know how typical this is but I'm fed up phoning them as they just tell me they have no vaccine and to call back again next week.

Update: I finally got my second jab in Mid July after repeated complaints. However, the booking system at Church Street Medical still wouldn't work. They said they wanted to offer me an appointment but their system wouldn't offer me one. In the end they gave up and suggested I try and attend an over 18s walk in clinic. However, I managed to get the phone app to work by repeated attempts to generate an appointment.
It's now December 2021 and I'm 60. Again, no booster yet despite over 40s being offered boosters within three months. It's over 5 months waiting for me and I'm 60. What is the excuse this time?
