I am extremely disappointed in the way that my son , who has a severe mental health condition, has been treated by the reception/ admin staff. And I am not impressed with the way that my son's repeat prescription is being handled. Each time we call to renew it there is some kind of problem and it causes my son extreme anxiety which is not good for someone in his condition. He is forced to continuously call about it as there are usually no updates. And when he calls he just gets told that it's been made an urgent matter. But 3 days later told the same again!
At present he has been asked to take a Smi test but we are not sure if his prescription will be out in hold until it's been completed. And no answer or help from the reception on this subject when he called.
Now we are left wondering if he will have any medication in 3 days when he runs out.
Not happy with the lack of correct communication or information ormation. And not happy with the unnecessary anxiety it is causing my mentally ill son.

I would stay clear of this doctor practice they are are endangering their patients life’s. Receptionist are rude and in-competent and just refuse to do the job they’re paid for. You literally have to beg them for an appointment even when it’s an emergency and even then will they do that over phone? Of course not they’re too lazy for that, you have to fill out a form and then they will decide if you deserve an appointment or not. Even after I ended up in hospital with a server infection that almost killed me, I still had to fight for an appointment. I had an appointment with a doctor who not only told me I was faking it but I asked him repeatedly not to touch me or put any pressure on my arm due to just have a steroid injection and it was the doctor who did the injection told me specifically not to put weight or pressure on it. Just want the surgery to understand putting hands on a patient without consent and after they’ve said no is assault. The police have now been informed. As well as this I have wrote to NHS England to report this practice for trying to kill parents since they keep giving me medication I can’t take and medication that will kill me and when I explain this to them and the reason why they call me a lier. I tried to make a complaint to the practice manager one or the doctors came out and pretended he owns the practice and he told me I wouldn’t get an apology and that if I didn’t leave they would call the police on me, this doctor doesn’t own the practice they just wanted to pull me in the office with the same doctor who physically assaulted me (putting hands on someone without consent is assault). Basically they wanted to get a big scary man to intimate a very vulnerable women. Go to a different doctors surgery if you want actual medical care because you will be given medication you are allergic to and they don’t care about following any king of protocol. This practice just follows medical negligence.

Not everyone will have the same experience of this surgery. My experience has regretfully now ended. Things reached a point where I did not feel listened to, did not feel part of decisions about my own health and know for sure that I was not understood.

I would like to note that in my experience the receptionists did answer the phone.

Tried booking an appointment few times for my mental health. Receptionist was rude didn't want to listen to me properly, offered Samaritans? I needed an actual doctor. Then constantly directed me to triage form I did it, inputed times I am available for a call and they are still giving me completely different times when I am at work. Waited for a call 2ise according to timings they gave me, and doctor never called me eventually. Now have to try to book another appointment and wait again. I must say I would rather not bother anymore and find a different surgery. Thanks for no help.

Is the worst medical clinic in Cheltenham. I've been trying to get tested for several weeks and I still can't because they either cancel the appointments or make mistakes!! Not recommended! I will report it to PALS and POhWER and wherever I can report it

Cannot fault receptionists & nurses they were always patient & very very helpful.

Doctors on the other hand - awful.
I very nearly lost my child because the doctor “knows better”

Stay clear!

Very, very bad experienced with this practice. Every time I rang requesting for appointment or prescription the receptionist is always reluctant to help. Hey are you human being there? or Aliens. Always saying triage how can you do it if you are not gadget/computer literate. I cannot help you I will give you a link. I am in so much pain all I need is to see a doctor but still she is inconsiderate. Keep saying I can give you appointment in 3 to 4 weeks time, Worst ever Surgery.
