If you are unsure whether a 4D bonding scan will be worth it - we'd like to recommend that ours indeed was at Cocoon Harrogate. We waited too far along at 34 Weeks (they explained there is less space for baby to move - so they might not be able to capture the angles you hope for) and baby was completely camera shy! We were booked in for a courtesy re-scan at 35 Weeks and this time received high quality scans beyond our expectations, we're over the moon. May we suggest you don't wait too far along for your scans. Thank you Sam, Penny, Gemma, and team at Cocoon Harrogate for such a positive experience.

I cannot say enough good things about Cocoon. Sam has created a truly special place and I’m so grateful that we have access to this lovely clinic in Harrogate. I’ve been to Cocoon on a number of occasions for acupuncture with Bryony and an early pregnancy scan with Kate, and every experience has been so brilliant. The set up is very comfortable, warm and inviting, much more homely and relaxing than a harsh clinical setting.

We visited Cocoon at 29w, for a 4D reassurance scan, after a difficult couple of weeks. The space is so lovely (and smells amazing!) which put us at ease immediately. The space is unlike other private scan clinics which can feel cold and uninspiring.
Both Sam (who booked us in and greeted us) and our sonographer Katie were friendly and knowledgable and we got some brilliant pictures of baby. We will definitely come back! Thank you Team Cocoon for your knowledge and kindness!

We visited Cocoon today for our 4D scan and were blown away! Absolutely gorgeous inside, such a homey atmosphere and the ladies in there were so lovely. We were made comfortable and felt so safe and relaxed - I was even given a blanket for my legs whilst having the scan to keep warm although it was lovely and cosy in there even without the blanket - extra touches just made it even more perfect! We got to see our baby girl, things were explained and just so thrilled we chose to come to Cocoon - would highly recommend anyone looking for a private scan to come visit - well worth it! I cannot say enough nice things about Cocoon, the team, the environment, the kindness, the nice smells as soon as you walk in 10/10, the comfy beds, the wonderful staff it's all wonderful.
After having some not so nice experiences both privately and with the NHS myself and my husband wanted to be reassured, and reassured we were with Cocoon. We've been twice already and I'm sure we'll be back again before baby arrives.
Thank you again to every member of staff who has dealt with us over the past few months and coming months, you've really put our minds at ease and it's been such a pleasure every time we've come in

We were so happy to have Cocoon throughout our pregnancy journey. We visited on several occasions and always received such a warm and friendly welcome. The team were so kind and very knowledgeable which, as an anxious mummy-to-be, gave me a lot of reassurance. We found the NHS scans and appointments to be much more transactional, which is understandable given their constraints, so it was nice to have Cocoon supplementary to our NHS appointments, where we could go and not feel rushed, and take the time to ask our questions. Can't recommend enough and will certainly be using again should we be fortunate enough to have baby no.2!

5 stars simply isn’t enough! What Sam & the team have created at Cocoon is something really special. It’s on a completely different level to any private clinics we’ve been before and has truly transformed our pregnancy journey. Our journey would not of been the same without being able to visit Cocoon and it’s something we’ve really needed following our previous struggles.

The place itself is warm, welcoming, relaxing and genuinely feels like a safe space and every time we’ve been in its felt personal, we’ve felt completely understood and nothing has been too much. It’s also very apparent the staff have been carefully selected as each and every person has provided the very best care.

We have absolutely no doubt about recommending Cocoon to anyone and everyone that may require their services!

Came to Cocoon for a gender scan and had an amazing experience. After Baby being sat on her bum, we were asking to take a walk around the block to see if she would move to get a better confirmation. Our sonographer said she was sure she knew the gender but wanted to be certain so we came back after lunch and a full bladder to confirm. Wrote it on a note in an envelope which we opened with our 2 boys. Thank you for the extra effort to get our confirmation
