After wearing a hair system for more than A QUARTER OF A CENTURY - you read that right - I discovered scalp micropigmentation. I was tired of covering up my lack of hair and this seemed a great solution. I researched SMP artists for well over a year, and saw a lot of good ones (ok, and some not so good). I live in New York, and there are many reputable companies/artists within walking distance of my home, as well as many others around the country. I really researched, and I came to the conclusion that the best artists for a natural look are in Europe, and specifically in the UK. There were several I researched and seriously considered. Then I encountered Kristian Raine-Thrall, and it was game over. His work is so subtle and so natural that there was no choice to be made - he was my guy, in spite of the multi-thousand miles trips that it would involve. Remember, I could have walked ten blocks from my home and gotten a perfectly fine job done. That’s how good Kristian is. He’s more than worth the very long trips. His work is meticulous, detailed, soft, subtle and unbelievably natural. It’s no surprise he’s winning all the awards. The response I’ve gotten has been great beyond my wildest hopes. Additionally, Kristian is just about the nicest guy you could meet. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Getting my hairline restored by Kristian was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has knocked years off me, and I have had numerous comments from people that saw the lack of hairline before the procedure mentioning how natrual and good it looks now. In summary, whilst I am sure many people offer the same service as Kristian, I doubt they can deliver a treatment as good as his. He is a top bloke that does an awesome job, and is worth every penny I spent (and more) - and I can not recommend him enough! 😊

I was the client who travelled half way around the globe, 16 hours of flight to find Kristian. It has been 2 weeks plus since my 2nd session. Nobody in my office realised except for one friend who was really close to me because it looks natural. And he only noted I look different.
My sisters looked at it closely and thought the smp covered my sideburn because that's how well it blended with the real hair follicles.

I had no regrets at all and I plan to have 3rd session and get something more aggressive hairline because I think Kristian can pull it off. And I think I can slowly warm people around me to the idea that I have hair follicles with the current smp so more aggressive hairline is possible next.

Yes I am still bald but at least I look like my age now and I can have fun confidently now without feeling like I am out of place.

Happy New Year 2025 to KRT SMP.
I attended for my 1st session 30/12/2024. My self confidence was low as female you can imagine, my hair was thinning and looked scarce towards front of head. KRT consulted me and reassured me re-available transforming procedure that would be tailored to my individual needs.
Very professional, explained procedure throughout, ensuring I was comfortable. After care provided verbally and via e-mail.

I did a lot of research on SMP before finally taking the plunge and I honestly believe Kristian is not only the best at what he does in the UK, but one of the very best in the world.

I was initially very nervous ahead of the first session but upon meeting Kristian, my nerves quickly subsided. He's a great guy who puts you at ease from the start and all three sessions flew by.

Can only echo what the rest of kristians reviews are saying about him and his service. After being hesitant about getting SMP done and a year or so of research I finally booked my first session with KRT. Based off results and reviews I could see that Kristian is one of, if not the best in the business. Being naturally nervous before the first session it wasnt long before I was reassured that I had made the right decision. Having the ambassadors option which I used and had great help from one of kristians previous clients proved a great way to help on the build up to the first session. The studio is perfect even if it is a 3 hour drive for me ( worth every journey ) Kristian is a top guy who is very passionate about what he does and what he does is too a high standard and won't let you walk away until you and him are happy.
