I cannot recommend Hartley Locums enough. They have supported our family for 8 months now, first helping to care for my father who was in palliative care and now supporting my mum on a part time basis in her home and out on trips. They are extremely knowledgeable, skilled, caring, kind and always available to help at any time of day. Hartley Locums are also good value for money, compared to other care companies.

Hartley Locums have been providing care for my 91 year old Grandmother since we moved her in with us in Dec-20.

I can not fault their service, we had an initial visit within 24 hours of my enquiry, recognising the urgency of the need started care the next day.

They sorted referrals to a number of agencies (Physio / OT / District nurse), and arranged for the the delivery of required NHS equipment to help support us, all within a few days (despite it being Christmas week) - something which would have taken me weeks to sort myself.

The Carers really actually care (something which in my experience is not always a given!), they support my gran, talk to her, make her laugh and take time just to "be with her" never rushing out of the door. When time permits they will do little extras - (e.g in the morning laying pads / PJs out for the night).

They always arrive promptly, and take the time to ask and genuinely enquire how we as a family are given this significant change in our personnel arrangements.

The use a web-based tracking system which allows me to see who is coming and when and clearly documents the care that has been given.

A true holistic service - taking care of all our practical / social and emotional needs.
