The doctors, nurses and gps are absolutely lovely However, the reception staff are honestly so vile sometimes The amount of attitudes and lack of manners they have it’s disgusting. I get they work in a very stressful environment but there’s no need to be rude to someone who has been nothing but polite to you.

I have to say over time the quality of reception staff has improved immensely, I can vouch for this personally, the ability to see a gp has improved and there are very good alternatives if you are happy with that, my main gripe is the car parking facilities, my last visit and many others I've had to walk up that steep hill and with horrendous sciatica no joke, I wouldn't mind but there are about 23 spaces full and when you go inside there are between 2 to 4 people waiting, how's that possible, have mentioned it before and response is less than enthusiastic, it's about time the management started to monitor these vehicles or put signs up making people aware that these spaces are solely for patients some often with mobility issues and put there patients needs first instead of letting anyone park there because they can.

Excellent service from Hillview Medical. I called in the morning for an appointment and I was seen the same day. All the staff are friendly and helpful and I was seen within 10-15 minutes of my appointment time. I don't understand why people can be so negative about Surgery reviews. The care and systems are in place and I commend all that work in this sector as I'm sure it must be a demanding sector to work when you are dealing with ill people. Good job Hillview!

Absolutely brilliant service. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. I go regularly for b12 jabs and Rebecca the nurse is always lovely. Never a problem getting an emergency appointment as there's an efficient system in place. Pharmacy inside so easy to collect medications. Dr Giles is superb.

Moved here about a month ago from another surgery in the area, that I have given up on and I have to say I am impressed with the service here. I have been seen within 30 mins of calling here by actual doctor, instead of a phone call in two weeks. I only seen two doctors so far and all is good.

Don't get me wrong the doctors at The Dow are fantastic and have helped me a great deal its just the lack of appointments and I have only seen an MSK recently or a nurse and can not get an appointment with the actual doctors and fed up of fighting my way through the office staff to see someone and been let down by the appointment system and lack of accessibility when I was on crutches for years, stairs are not your friend.

However, Hillview actually has a ramp and a car park and even a disabled space, everything is on one level and even the pharmacy is in the reception area. I delight for mobility/health issues that make climbing stairs or a hill hard. Thanks Hillview for a refreshing actual patient focussed surgery. xxxx

I have my first blood test this morning at Hill View Medical Centre that was the first time for me to go in there and the staff and the nurse are so down to earth and they are amazing.

and they don't ring you evertytime like other surgery's. Always Check for blood test results on the app called NHS App you can Accessed or view all your medical records.

Been registered here for years and the efficiency and care has always been great , appointments have been never longer than a week later depending on urgency such pleasant staff throughout the surgery and pharmacy.

I am writing to bring attention to the general manner of customer service at Hillview

I consider the level of customer service to be very poor and for the most part an off putting experience on the part of the Receptionist response.

My wife was spoken to in a surly disinterested manner this morning following her request for a dressing change following Spinal surgery.

Not only was the individual incredibly rude in her manner, she actually terminated the call mid sentence of my wife thanking her for making the appointment

That individual needs either firing or retraining on how to talk to patients
She quite obviously has an attitude problem..
