ABSOLUTE NEGLIGENCE – DO NOT TRUST THIS GP SURGERY!

I am absolutely horrified by the level of care (or lack thereof) provided at this surgery. My 18-month-old daughter’s health was dismissed time and time again, despite her showing clear and severe symptoms: a high fever, difficulty breathing, and a lack of appetite. When I called the surgery saying she was struggling to breathe, they couldn’t even offer an appointment! Instead, they prescribed Calpol and sent us on our way.

It wasn’t until we went to the hospital that we learned my baby was dehydrated, had a bacterial infection, and was suffering from iron deficiency, putting her at risk of seizures—which she did experience. This is utter negligence on the part of the GP and staff, and their failure to act has put my daughter’s life in danger.

The receptionists have shown poor care at every point, and the doctors have done nothing but dismiss my concerns. This is not a healthcare facility—it’s a business that clearly puts profit over patient well-being. I will not stop emailing people and escalating this until this surgery is properly investigated and held accountable for their appalling treatment.

If you care about your family’s health, stay far away from this surgery.

The worst surgery i have ever come across. The receptionists are always rude, try to pry when booking an appointment and when you said it it’s private they say they can’t book without a reason. The GP brush everything off and palm you off, and even google symptoms to see what’s wrong with you. I had a blood test recently which i’m concerned about and when i want my results they say they can’t talk to me till March 7th which is unacceptable. I can never get an appointment for myself or for my daughter. Just a poorly run practice which CQC NEED to look into

The first GP I saw was brilliant, probably the first doctor to actually listen to me. Unfortunately this has not been the case since as I have been dismissed by the rest. It feels as if they adopt the “brush it off” approach to medicine instead of trying to figure out a solution to what is now a three year long issue. To have an obvious problem only to be told by a doctor that there is nothing wrong is disheartening and frustrating. The only saving grace is the reception team I’ve dealt with have been kind and professional, they have not been anything but helpful.

Great surgery. Staff are all friendly and helpful, phone lines can be busy but most of the time I am able to get an appointment. In comparison to other surgeries I would highly recommend them.

Receptionist Carole is very rude and has singled me out like she has a personal problem with me.
She hangs up the phone and refuses to pass on important information to the Dr insisting i must send an email, Playing with somebody’s health and welfare is terrible. Complaints mede to the surgery remains unaddressed and i will be changing surgery.

Dr R Makhdoom is fabulous. My baby had a severe skin issue and she's promptly and kindly found us a solution. Very friendly, professional and caring towards patients. I've been a patient at the surgery for many years and by far she's the best GP there

Excellent reception staff. Friendly, empathetic and helpful always. The Surgery's system for requesting tests, repeat prescriptions, and appointments is really efficient.

Incompetent Doctors, I went with my daughter 3 times and I told them she couldn't see and that she had an eye problem, they told me it was ok and to wait until she was 6 years old, I went to a private doctor in Italy and he found that my daughter was asymmetrical!
