Recently went for our travel vaccines. Reception was helpful and offered flexible appointments. The nurse on the day was really knowledgeable and patient with my nerves around needles. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The receptionist is so rude my son got an appointment after waiting for over a year and they didn’t bother to email or post a letter for it so he missed out and then when I rang the reception didn’t even take down my sons details to check the system instead she lied and said she sent the so called letter out herself and we must have provided the wrong email address etc which we didn’t when I checked. This place is absolutely appalling my son never even got a follow up from speech therapy and is now struggling in school.

I Was lied to on the 20 of November 2022 I was told my child would receive a letter in two weeks it's now been 20 days , so I rang today to be completely disrespected by hellen the receptionist she told me can I put you on hold , I'm just put me on hold for 18 minutes and when she got back on the phone she was completely surprised that I was offended for being put on hold for 18 minutes, when I asked to speak to the manager, she was condescending, disrespectful and passive aggressive , she's spoke in an Exaggerated higher pitch voice, I think it's disgusting the way this company treat disabled children and their parents. I truly believe they do not care about the child , waiting 2 years for an appointment isn't fair and it's settings the child up to fail It is not easy to get your child through the door and once you do it is still horrendous.
The truth and reality is this place needs to be exposed and investigated otherwise it will be at the detriment of the child .

We have visited the accorn centre for around the last 2years now and seen a number of diffrent teams.
I have found the staff helpful and informative, I've also found them willing to listen to what it is I'm asking and give guidance where nessasary.
Every team my now 3 and half year old has seen have been considerate of him and always interacted with him in a playful age appropriate way.
We have just had our youngest refered to the accorn centre and he had his first app recently with a diffrent pediatrian. Again he was thoughtful and considerate as well as good qt listening to my concerns.
Appointments are hard to get however I feel this is the same everywhere due to the major backlog. We have somtimes got success through cancellation lists. It should be known these apps will be short notice . But can be helpful!
