Avoid this practice at all costs. They wasted months of my time struggling in pain. If your a non radiographic AS sufferer do not go here because they will not help you no matter how bad your symptoms or mental health is.

They refused to put me on another biologic even though I had been on them before. I have extremely severe neck, hand, sij, feet pain the list goes on, all the main symptoms of an AS sufferer, did this matter, nope not one bit. I had previous inflammatory changes on mri scan, did this matter, not one bit.

Be aware that unfortunately a lot of these rheumatologists will do anything in there power to convince you that you have mechanical pain, when 9/10 of them have no idea what it’s like to be an AS sufferer because they don’t have it themselves. Reading books and going off strict guideline principles to disregard clear cut symptoms is a in human way to run a clinic, one that is actually ran under the nhs. The only time I was ever listened to was when I went private, what a world we live in.

We have a 8 month year old baby, and both me and my partner explained how challenging my life has been due to severe pain and mental health struggles because of the pain I am in with no treatment. In the end they refused to put me on any medicine as I was on before and once again I have been referred elsewhere, this time a 2 hour and a half drive away whilst I struggle severely and work full time job.

Alot of these rheumatologists need to be put on notice for how life damaging their decisions are to us suffers. I would avoid this clinic at all costs unless you are completely broken with permanent damage and clear cut inflammation because that might be the only time they want to help, when it’s too late.

Not very welcoming and very rude interrupting when explaining who had sent me, need to learn to be more friendly, the X-ray itself was good.
