My names Wendy.. I unfortunately found myself and my teenage children struggling for basic living needs when I was put in touch with Harold Hill food bank. I can’t begin to tell you how lovely, kind, considerate and caring these hard working volunteers are. I was made to feel welcome, not alone and above all like a human being who was no different to anyone else who just needed a bit of help. I am truely grateful to people who donate to these wonderful life saving food banks but I’m more so grateful to everyone involved who make these food banks happen and work for people like me and my family.. THANKYOU.

We have a family of 7 with one being a 4 month baby First time me and my partner felt so welcome and was pleased with the service we went again this past week as we’re struggling at the mo to free us all and this time there was different people working and we both felt so uncomfortable the way we was treated we got to the baby food bit and all the food there was 7 month onwards but there was a basket underneath with the right aged food so the lady that was walking round with us told me to pull it out so I did I sorted out the 4 month baby jars and then a bloke come from the back a shouted we can use that as it isn’t ready to be used yet well that use set us and made us think is it worth going back

This is (unfortunately) a much needed service in our community. The staff are absolutely excellent; both courteous and patient.
