Connor has been my PT for 4 years and I highly recommend him and Collective. Before training with Connor I found gyms intimidating and only ever used the cardio machines. I was in my early 50s when I began my PT sessions and the impact on my strength, muscle tone and mental health has been a revelation to me. I love the small group PT sessions at Collective as I can get more sessions for the same cost as a weekly PT. The gym is lovely and in a great location near Harpenden Golf Club. Connor pushes me but he know what he is doing and I always feel that my workout was an achievement. Recently, he has helped my post surgery rehabilitation with a carefully planned programme. I was quite nervous but Connor has built my confidence and fitness back up, progressing me safely. I think I'm a bit addicted to his workouts now 😊

If you are looking for a way to include fitness into your life in a non intimidating, flexible, fun, friendly environment, Collective is the place for you! I have been training with Connor for over 8 years and immediately signed up to Collective when it started. Collective is now a big part of my life! There is no dread for each session, instead I look forward to seeing everyone in the class, catching up and having fun. The small, personalized PT approach also allows for the trainers to take into consideration any injuries and create alternatives. The Collective App also makes it really easy to book onto classes to fit around a busy lifestyle. I have also seen results after dropping a dress size which is an additional benefit! If you are thinking about joining, give it go and you wont look back.

I couldn’t rate Collective highly enough. I was very intimidated by the usual kind of gym, paid membership but rarely went. I started with 1-2-1 PT sessions with Connor. The pace of the small group sessions means that you never get bored, there are adaptations made to suit every level and as a client you really build on your own skill set and knowledge. Collective’s most unique point is its community - never before have I felt so welcomed and relaxed at a gym all whilst seeing and feeling huge changes both physically and mentally.

I've been training with Connor for nearly 2 years now and he has been a brilliant PT - my fitness and strength has improved massively, my body shape has completely changed and he's transformed my whole approach to keeping fit. I actually look forward to exercising now! Connor is really knowledgeable and keeps pushing me all the time but the sessions are always good fun and the time passes quickly. Highly recommended

Connor is a first-rate PT. He knows his stuff and gets results!! He’s a really nice guy, puts you at ease, takes the time to get to know you and what you want to achieve, creates varied training plans so you never get into a lull and keep progressing and is great at motivating you to push yourself harder than you ever thought you could! I’ve been training with Connor for about a year and a half and am so much stronger and fitter than before. Highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend Stanbridge Fitness to anyone wanting to achieve fitness, strength or weight loss goals whilst actually enjoying the experience! Before training with Connor I'd tried lots of different group exercise classes but never really made any progress. He encouraged me to push and challenge myself to actually get results. Every session is fun and varied and Connor is fantastic at teaching technique and adapting exercises to suit all abilities. I had previously been intimated about being in a gym full of super-fit people but I now feel confident and actually enjoy being there. Thank you Stanbridge Fitness!
