Whenever I’ve needed an appointment I’ve always called at 08:30 am and always gotten an appointment that day! How many people in this country can get an appointment the same day?

Since I’ve been here I’ve seen 4 different GPs and cannot fault any of them.

Last year, I had a leg ulcer and was treated by a nurse Amanda who was absolutely brilliant and cared for me until my leg was better. I feel extremely lucky to have this as my local GP.

Had my first experience of this health centre since registering. Everyone I encountered was both friendly and professional from reception to the nurse taking blood and the GP. In fact it's been a while since I've seen such a empathic receptionist. Yes my appointment didn't run to time but the receptionist came out to apologise. Just watching her with the elderly patients was heart warming as she showed a lot of patience. Thank you all for a positive experience.

I have been with Jenner House, Old Harlow 4 years now as have 2 of my children. We have been seen by a few Drs and each have given 100% of their time and commitment. They have been exceptional.
They are brilliant and supportive in every area including mental health.
The receptionists are also very polite and supportive and have always been very helpful.
I have never had a problem in getting an appointment.
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the surgery for all your exceptional hard work and caring support 😊

I'm so upset with the GP here that my wife and I are actually looking to switch surgeries, which might mean us taking a train to get to the doctor rather than go on foot. That's how let down we feel. The incompetence, thoughtlessness, and selfishness is appalling. My wife has spent over a year (and quite a bit of money) on getting a private ADHD assessment to find the right dosage of medication for herself because the NHS wait time for an assessment was about 3 years. She finally got on the right medication that helps her function like a relatively normal human and when it comes time to switch her care to the NHS, the doctor at this surgery let her fill a prescription for two weeks worth of meds and then, when it came time for her to get more, decided that he actually didn't want to take on the shared care agreement if she got diagnosed privately and tells her that if she wants more medication, she would have to get on the NHS waiting list for an assessment...so basically a 3 year wait. They didn't warn her of this, and only thought to mention it to her when she had about 2 days left of my medication. So now she’s in withdrawal. Seems totally unethical to us, but they don't seem to care. As an American who moved here, I was quite excited to get free healthcare but to call it “care” would be a complete lie. Our GP is just incompetent.

Called up to make an appointment and was told I can call on the day for a same-day appointment. Called on the day, and was told I don't need a doctor but a nurse instead and they book up to weeks in advance

Would have been nice to know that information first time around and maybe I wouldn't have been left without enough of my medication to last until that appointment comes around.

Train your staff maybe to give that piece of information for anyone calling for appointments to save them the headache.

The medication i have been on for last 15 years on repeat has been stopped. No one contacted me or said anything, i am not due any tests. Just my pharmacy said there will be no more repeats. Full stop. I will be writing a complaint hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me.

My husband visited the reception early morning and got an appt for the same day ,saw dr Michael Nepal David , who listened , understood and suggested options that will hopefully help the situation he is in. Felt I should leave a review of Jenner house ,as quite a few doctors surgeries in Harlow , are regularly getting bad reviews from people . Nice to be able to say something positive about our doctors surgery 🙂
