Outstanding veterinary practise. Every single member of staff I have come into contact with have been so kind, helpful and empathetic. Not once have I ever felt rushed during an appointment, in fact I feel as though they have gone above and beyond to make sure both my dog Jess and myself have been as comfortable as possible during a very worrying time. My sister recommended this practise to me, and she was absolutely right, they are fantastic. Also, I was quoted for an operation on my dog, (which I thought was very reasonable) and then after the operation I received the final bill and it actually came to less than the estimation by about £100 so that was a nice surprise!

I cannot fault the service offered by Oakwood. Our dog was spayed a couple of weeks ago and the team are so caring and genuinely some of the most lovely people you could entrust your pet to, especially Stacey who looked after us throughout the whole process from booking in to the final post op check. We felt really well looked after with reassurance before the op, follow up courtesy calls to check on how our dog was doing afterwards and two face to face post op checks, plus a care package to bring home with us after the operation including food, painkillers and care information. I will not hesitate recommending this practice to everyone I know! 😊

Contacted Oakwood after our dog was diagnosed as having a possible grass seed in his paw but our own vets left us in the lurch. Oakwoods were superb in ensuring that they obtained our dogs medical records from the previous practice in order to register him with them. They saw him the next day but were unable to explore without sedation so kept him in for the procedure and contacted us once it was completed. Excellent service throughout from staff who clearly genuinely care. Really appreciated the follow up call the following day to check progress! Would like to give a special thank you to Christopher who went that extra mile! Really appreciate the excellent service and professional, caring attitude. Can’t recommend enough!

We have used oakwood for a couple of years now. In the past 7 months we have sadly had to have 2 of our beloved dogs put to sleep. The staff are absolutely amazing, kind. Understanding nothing was to much trouble. They let us have as much time as we needed. Collecting them after their cremation was done with a very discreet phone call and a dignified hand over. Our beautiful Cat Purdy was unwell, sadly had to be put to sleep...Emily was absolutely fantastic, she made an horrendous experience bearable and showed nothing but compassion and real kindness toward us... even sent us a card days later. .. we would recommend Emily and the Team 100%....Thank you Oakwood.

I cannot thank Fiona and the whole team enough for their care of our beloved cat, Flower. Everyone thinks their pet is special and we are no exception, but with us there are three generations of our family that all think she is the best cat in the world (no offence) so the pressure was high when we brought her in, non-weight bearing on one of her front legs.
Fiona put up with me crying when handing Flo over, put up with my Dad not listening to a word she said and asking daft questions and went above and beyond to give Flo the best care I've seen from a practice.

We all think you are absolutely awesome and I would never entrust any of my many animals to anybody else's care.
