Cannot fault this surgery. Everything is always dealt with in a quick and professional manner. I regularly see Rochelle, one of the nurses and she is always so kind and caring. Rochelle always puts you at ease and explains everything throughly.
I have recently seen Dr Tucker and she was amazing. So down to earth and friendly. I had never met her before but I came out of my appointment feeling like I’d seen her many times before.
The booking system changed fairly recently and I have to say I was hesitant, I didn't think it would work but it absolutely does. Rather than sitting in a huge queue, you fill in a quick form online and someone gets back to you either by phone call or text explaining what is best going forward - phone call, face to face etc.
I have been at this surgery since it first opened and I cannot fault it.
Thank you Warwick Gates!

When this surgery was managed by Drs Campbell and Kennedy it was a fantastic local service. Over the years it has deteriorated to nothing short of appauling. The receptionists (all except one) are rude and act like gatekeepers to appointments, as if they are providing you with something that you actually aren't entitled to.

As for a 90minute lunch break - which member of management hasn't considered that shift work, to provide phone coverage throughout the entire day, would be a more sensible approach to patient care.

Have complained to management many times, but they're about as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

As mentioned by previous reviews, booking system is awful, there used to be an app booking system during covid but they chose to decommission which sounds crazy. The online booking form is only available during working hours and there is no visibility of when you will get a call back, and you might miss it if you're working. On the day, most appointments seem to tell you to wait and see if you get better before booking again to come back. Reluctant to refer to a specialist even when you have private medical cover. I'm sure the staff do their best but it's just not working. I'd happily wait for non urgent care if there was an easy way to book but there isn't.

I previously gave the surgery five stars but now it is awful. New booking system is horrible, it is more time consuming and you don't really know if the doctor will ask you to come to surgery or not unless he gives you a call which can be anytime of the day. This means you can't plan anything else unless doctor calls you and then give you an invitation to come to surgery. I have found new staff at the surgery and most of the times they advise you to take "Paracetamol" (one safe solution). I don't think some doctors are qualified enough to give medication or possibly they are scared to prescribe medications. My wife went 3 times as she was struggling with Shoulder and Arm pain. They asked her to take Ibrufen or Paracetamol. We told them that it doesn't seem like spasm, possibly a muscle injury, at least arrange for any scans or refer to specialist and they denied. It is now more than 3 months and her condition is getting worse. We were eventually refered to physiotherapy but after filling the eligibility form it is already 3 weeks now and no one has get back to us to know when will be the first session. The surgery standard has taken a nose dive for sure.

Really great surgery. I had a really positive experience when I had cause to reach out to the GP recently. Dr Roberts was extremely compassionate and went out of her way to follow up afterwards.

The new booking system is terrible , if you have no access to the internet or can’t use it they still require to fill it and do it online.
You have to wait when they give you time you have no choice of time slot you have to be there whenever they say or lose given appointment.
Once I was only a min late for my appointment and my name was removed from the computer to sign in and had to wait for the receptionist as she was busy with another customer , by the time I mentioned the problem she told me to reschedule the appointment as being late. Every time I booked an appointment they never seen by doctor or nurse on time. It doesn’t feel like a GP practitioner but a hospital when ever you visit no one knows you.
I had to fill a medical form requiring to fill by medical professional where most of GPs charging various prices from £50 to max £126 but they charged me £175.
I have to fill repeat prescription and each time I mention the same pharmacy on the form but not receiving any after couple of time visits and enquiries found out they sent it in different pharmacy.

The doctors and nurses were always kind and professional, both with the adults and the kid, but the administration is atrocious.
It was bad enough that receptionists were acting as a de facto triage before, gatekeeping visits and services. Now they pick up the phone to tell you where the online form is in their confusing website. I guess so they can save some keyboard typing? Absolutely dystopian.
As some other reviews pointed out, the second you are late the software kicks you out and you cannot confirm arrival using the machine at the door. You have to book a new appointment all over again. This is especially eggregious because when you are on time you are often visited 10 minutes after the slotted time. Not that this is bad, but it's very hypochritical to apply flexibility to the service and military discipline to the patients.

I have been with Warwick gates for 8 years and more recently have had 2 pregnancies supported by them. Have had excellent care, always responsive and have bent over backwards. I don’t know how they do it with the pressures they are under but they’re all amazing.
