I found the Laurel Centre to be a fantastic place for what was required and it was totally life changing for me. The advice help and information that I received was in my opinion second to none.
What you need to remember with places of this kind is that they are not places of magic. You can’t expect to walk in the door and hey presto I am cured that’s all fantastic now let’s get on with our lives as if nothing ever happened. They are places of learning, development, guidance and coaching. That it also the very point most people miss guidance. You have to put yourself in a position to learn, listen and guide yourself from the information gained. The effort to develop and change is all your own. There are no magic wands there, all the effort is yours and yours alone but with the help and guidance from the excellent team, who believe me, again in my opinion, go above and beyond to help you more than you could ever realize, change is well within anyone’s reach. No doubt some will say they are only in it for the money or they are brainwashing you, rubbish from what they charge and how much they help and advise you then it’s extremely cheap. As for brainwashing that’s easy stop watching the news on TV and listening to everything on social media. Remember they are helping you change your life but only if you want it and are willing to put the effort in.
