After having a major operation 6 months ago, it was recommended that I have a course of lymphatic drainage massages to aid recovery. I contacted the wellness clinic and they booked me in with Shine.
From the first time I attended, I felt very comfortable. I explained all about my surgery and was made to feel completely at ease and very the experience is always very personable.
I still attend the clinic and have appointments with Shine as he works on my scar healing and other areas.
Shine is so knowledgeable and helpful really does know his stuff!
I also send my son every fortnight for a sports massage to help recovery from his sports activities and he also really enjoys the benefits these do for him.
I would highly recommend Shine and the wellness clinic!

I first started my wellness journey with Shine after meeting him at a Tessa Clemson Yoga event back in September 2024 and discussing my starting-point.
My initial health concerns were hormonal-mood balancing and some pain in upper neck and shoulders after years of teaching and more recently being mum to a lively and physical preschooler!
After an initial consultation, we decided on a six-week plan of bespoke massage and trigger-point acupuncture and dry cupping as required. I also take the recommended Ayurvedic supplements daily to support this and take yoga classes as much as I can to support movement and stretching.
I am now on my second round of plans and feel so much lighter, more relaxed and most-importantly more pain-free! I looked to Dr. Shine for some acupuncture treatment to help relive long standing TMJ Jaw pain. I was impressed to notice some immediate pain relief and movement after the first treatment.

Being new to acupuncture and feeling particularly apprehensive about trying the treatment, Dr.Shine put me at immediate ease with his calm and reassuring support. Talking me through the different stages of the treatment and helping me with breathing techniques to encourage calmness.

After the initial consultation and treatment he advised a course of 6 sessions, during which he uses message and reflexology and red light therapy to further aid the acupuncture therapy. The movement and pain reduction was evident immediately and as the course continued the impact has begun to have greater effect for a greater period of time.

Not only has my jaw improved, my general emotional and physical well being appears to have gained too.
