Had a blood test booked with Peggy at 8.50. The surgery was empty so I was seen at 8.40. Peggy was really lovely, as ever, and was kind and courteous. I've never had a problem with any service at Croft and have never had difficulty getting an appointment.

Lucky for me that I rarely need to visit the Medical Centre. Today was the occasion that I really needed the NHS and the service I received here today was 5 star.
I telephoned at 8.30 this morning to make an appointment. I was held in a queue for just a few minutes and then spoke with a pleasant and helpful assistant and an appointment made for the same day for just after 5pm.
I was given a warm, smiling reception and waited no more than 5 minutes to see Dr Oury.
I was treated promptly and professionally by a Dr who listened, questioned and listened again to my symptoms. I was given what
I consider to be a thorough examination by the Dr and appropriate treatment and follow up advice.
I haven’t had to see a Dr for many years. I felt very satisfied with my overall treatment today from start to finish. Many thanks and I hope I do not need to see you again for many years to come ! But if I do I hope it’s as good a service as it was today !

A complete waste of time. My appointment was at 5.20pm walked in to a packed surgery was not seen till 6.15pm. Finally seen by Dr Madagan who was very rude and even had his shirt buttons open which was rather disgusting. Without even checking presumed he knew complete waste of time from a so called doctor. No apologies for being so late. Disgusting service.

After having come down for a holiday to see family, I had to become a temporary patient here as it was the closest I could get too.
I was told that if it wasn't an emergency, I had to call my gp and get a prescription for my medication.. of which my gp is 200+ miles away so I couldn't just collect it from them even having explained this they still tried turning me away. after telling them the severity of the situation and how I need the medication they told me to come back another day to register as they didn't have anyone to put it into the system.

I honestly don't know how this Dr's is still in practice. Absolutely appalling

Follow up from a few years after, I did manage to get a emergency prescription that could be picked up but they did not tell me I had to become a registered patient there. was a pretty big shock to come back home to find my gp has told me I've moved house and no longer can be a patient with them and that I have to go through the whole mental health system once again after I got re-registered with them.

Practice manager is rude and very unprofessional! Blocked our van in the car park, we politely asked her to move her vehicle when we walked back into the practice and got nothing but abuse from her, although we offered her our car park space. She was shouting violently and I feel that her personal behaviour was reflected on her professionalism, and made her unable to keep calm handling the situation. She then refused to move her car and even locked the practice doors making out like we were the aggressors. Our voices were not raised once and we actually found her reactions and the way she dealt with the situation quite amusing. In result of this my partner lost out on money unable to drive to work and our time was wasted! If anyone else needs to complain for any reason I strongly recommend calling NHS England as they were amazing and are dealing with our complaint to satisfaction.

I have been trying for a month to get an appointment here. Everytime I ring them up, they say appointments can only be made at 8.30am in the morning. Every morning at 8.30am when I ring them, no one picks the call. Once frustrated I decided to take a day leave and went in at 8.30am, they took my appointment, but the phone was ringing and no one would pick the phone. With kid this is really difficult to always be physically present at 8.30 to get an appointment, so shall we then have to take leave every time we want a doctor's visit? Also my husband went in at 8.50am today and apparently they could not give any appointment.

After calling multiple times to try and arrange an emergency appointment with a dr I finally got through to what seemed to be an already angsty receptionist who informed me that she doesn’t care how long it would take, there were no appointments left & that their lines ‘hadn’t been that busy this morning’ despite the fact I’d been calling since 8am. this is the case every time I call meaning what was a simple issue has now developed into a serious health problem.

this place may have had a good by the CQC but the staff on reception are awful , curt and not helpful in the slightest as if its a burden talking to the patients when they make an inquiry.
Dr Madagan is also rude , dismissive and acts if he is jaded with job of a GP. Shows not real interest in the patient and their ailments - just wants you in and out as quick as possible and acts like God.
