I've had nothing but excellent care at Chawton Park Surgery.
Last time I was there the Doc that saw me at 7.30am had a very long day ahead of him due to staff shortages, it turned out to be a bit of a regular occurrence.
I accept some folk might not always get quite what they want but try walking a mile in someone else's shoes occasionally.

Shocked at such a terrible review I read on here. I couldn't disagree more. I've been going to this surgery for 12 years and feel they are brilliant. I've heard horror stories from many people about their surgeries, but Chawton Park have always been great to us. The GP's I see totally care and I've always managed to get appointments when I've needed them.

Absolutely pathetic. Doctors do not care about their patients, all they worry about is their annual leave or getting long term leave , any other form of employment they would be stopped from booking time off when other doctors already have . The mental health team ask the doctor to review my medication urgently and I’m told he has no appointments available in the next FOUR WEEKS …ok I’ll just pop out and k… some people in the meantime…
Slightly raised the volume of my voice on the phone to the receptionist out of sheer desperation, her reply , sir I can’t talk to you , I find your volume increase threatening…oh my goodness, there is no hope for us in this crazy sad country anymore. I also had a doctor forget to leave a letter in reception on an arranged date for me to hand into the court detailing my problems, incompetence everywhere

Normally would be 5 stars but recently had a terrible experience with a doctor here. He was extremely condescending and made a few off the cuff comments that made me uncomfortable. Not sure if that was the norm for him but left feeling like I wasted my time when I was following NHS guides for concerns over my toddler. In all the practice is normally fantastic and you get seen quickly, but I will not be seeing that doctor again.

This doctor's surgery is so unhelpful. They've been sending me from pillar to post for several weeks, and as a last resort I've spoken to NHS 111 today, and they've told me that it's the responsbility of the GP to help their patients. If I could give them less than 1 star then I would!
