I saw Gemma for the first time this week, and honestly I'm in love with her! You basically get an anatomy lesson whilst you're there. She explains everything that she does, and why and what effect it has.
Yes I came out feeling like I'd been in the ring with Hulk Hogan. But already I feel much better, and can't wait for my next session.
I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing physio.

I made an appointment to see Gemma for a shoulder issue caused by swimming. Gemma was quick to get to the cause of the underlying problem and promptly set about getting the flexibility back in my shoulder. Over the course of 2 sessions my shoulder was well on the way to being fully recovered.

I couldn’t recommend Gemma highly enough.

I have been having physio on my neck, and more recently on my knee for the past 12 months. Gemma is very professional, knowledgeable but also very friendly. Her physio treatment is thorough, and she always listens and gives good advice for follow up exercises and treatment at home. Gemma recently wrote a GP referral for me which prompted a quick response from my GP, which has provided a treatment plan for my knee. Gemma is always keen to help, responds to messages promptly and I would highly recommend her.

Gemma has been just an absolute lifesaver for me!
I have had issues with both my shoulders for over 4 years now. I have been everywhere and tried just about everything on offer. Nothing worked for me.
Gemma was recommended by a friend, mainly as she was able to arrange ultrasound scans which had not been offered at my numerous visits to the GP, hospital and A&E.
Gemma arranged an ultrasound scan for me straight away which showed up multiple issues in both my shoulders. We now had much more of an ides of what we were dealing with after being fobbed off by the NHS numerous times.
I am now in the system for treatment/surgery with the NHS but only on the back of the ultrasound scan Gemma arranged.
Whilst I am awaiting an appointment from the NHS for steroid injections and/or surgery, I see Gemma every week for treatment which is helping to calm down the inflammation in my shoulders which helps relieve the pain an aids sleep.
Gemma has not only helped reduce the pain in my shoulders, her advice has been invaluable and she has helped me navigated the complete nightmare around appointments and further treatment via the NHS. She has even written to my GP on two occasions.
I can honestly say I do not know what I would have done without her.

It is with the great pleasure I offer this review on such an outstanding service provided by the PLT Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic. I have attending the clinic on and off for the last 8 months with a knee problem, going on to diagnose the need for a partial knee replacement. Then on to pre operation physio and subsequent rehabilitation after care. Gemma and Amanda are very professional, friendly and reassuring in their work and you feel very safe in their hands. If I need any further advice or care I will have no hesitation in returning to PLT and would recommend them to anyone else.

I came to see Gemma after injuring my shoulders. Following an assessment, she organised an ultrasound scan which confirmed several tendons were ruptured. She explained exactly what damage had been done and what my options were. It’s been a long recovery but the treatment I’ve received has been outstanding. Pain relief at first followed by strength building. I’m now coming every four weeks for a maintenance session. Ive no hesitation in recommending PLT for any sort of injury treatment or rehabilitation
