I am shocked at the reviews I am reading . I have the upmost praise for caritas group practice . I cannot fault the doctors the staff the nurses the referral system . I have worked in health care for a long time in different areas and I have witnessed some horror stories with GPS . This surgery and the ongoing personal care is second to non in my opinion . I would not change a thing . Dr Ahmed has the most wonderful professional but caring manner I have ever come across in health care . The mental health team is another excellent example . The care of the elderly another example . I highly recommend this surgery .

If you're registered with a caritas owned practice? Try your best to find a surgery that isn't owned by them. The online service is useless, I wanted to use it in the afternoon only for the website to tell me that the practice reached capacity! Ringing up and asking for an appointment will only get you told to go through the online service. What a complete joke. I would give zero stars if I could.

Just been on the phone this morning to get an appointment to see the Doctor, or get advice to what to do. I am speaking to a person who wont or cant help me and said can only do this on line through Patches! I then went to do this and it wouldn't set me up as my email isn't recognised. but you cant enter one as then it asks again for an email to send the details. when you put your email it says it cant do it. I called back the 4th time and explained that I couldn't do it, I was advised to call 111 or go to A&E ! when you go to A&E they ask have you seen your Doctor so how can you just get to speak to someone who actually wants to help people or do the job they are in? I will be moving from here! I have to give a 1 star to put this on but they don't deserve that and now also seeing the reviews on here I see I am not alone with this Frustration

I seriously regret signing up with them. They are the most unorganized, unprofessional and unfriendly staff. The doctor Mrs Iqbal is super rude and communicates unprofessionally. The receptionist and other staff on the calls doesn’t know what they are doing and they just hang up the call without answering my concerns. I have travelled internationally n visited many third world countries too but I have honestly never ever come across such an attitude. Do yourselves a favour and never sign up, if there was an option to give them 0 star rating I would’ve done that, 1 star rating is an achievement for them.

The worst surgery ever. Always closed, always changing the system of appointments etc, only seem to cater for people who are retired and don't work and just expect you to work around them. Being self employed I've had to take countless days off losing a lot of money to go see a doctor through the day because they don't do appointments after 3 anymore. The staff there make you feel like you shouldn't be calling at all, as a man who are encouraged to go to the doctors more I just find this appalling. I've had a simple problem that the doctors have been unable to treat for nearly 2 years now, and if your lucky enough to get a same day appointment and not come back in 5 days time when it suits them, because you are deemed as non urgent, then you have the pleasure of seeing a different doctor every time.

I'm so glad I don't have anything serious wrong with me because I'd really be in trouble by now.

The place needs a serious revamp, or closing down.

Changing surgeries today.

Rang up and was fobbed off over the phone with "just take this and you'll be fine". Rang back after a week still in a lot of pain, to be told (still over the phone, no consultation) "oh, just take a bit more, you'll be fine".

A couple more calls and a couple more phone fob offs with a slight change in medication, I actually ended up in hospital. Doctor told me it could have been sorted originally if I'd been seen properly. Instead I've lost a month of work and I'm having to pay for private physio as shelf clinic never arranged it when they said they would.

A joke of a place! One good thing about having to be off work means I can change surgery.
