The receptionist was lovely and helped calm my nerves and my appointment was very quickly brought about! The doctor listened and elaborated on my issues and did everything he could to help. A wonderful health centre with wonderful staff!

Amazing service. I am happy I switched to this clinic. The E consults are easy to add as open for long time. Very quickly assessed and responded to.
The reception staff are so kind and helpful. Always reply back to my queries very quickly and efficiently.
Even the doctors I have had telephone calls with are all nice.

My mum was a patient at your surgery until her recent sudden death. We as a family received a sympathy card personally signed from all the Doctors. This was a really lovely gesture & such a nice touch. Mum always spoke very highly about the practice & especially liked Dr Vara & Dr Gill. we would just like to thank you all for her care over the years.

The doctors are absolutely fantastic they provide more information that needed to completely settle your mind. Their friendly, yet professional approach sets them apart from other surgeries to date in my experience. The receptionists are now very friendly and accommodating, yet previously the service was atrocious and they were shockingly rude.

Just the most most wonderful GP surgery. We feel very lucky to be patients of Chase Meadow Health Centre. Dr Gill and Dr Vara have been absolutely wonderful at looking after our boys. When we see them, it feels like we are receiving ‘old school’ GP support. They are both extremely committed to their patients, particularly little ones, and it is abundantly clear that they genuinely care (and, despite how busy and under pressure they are, remember everyone in the family!). The doctors at this surgery have a true vocation. Quite simply the best!

I recently moved to the area and selected Chase Meadow Health Centre. The reviews on here were a little alarming but I’m yet to see a doctors surgery with glowing reviews. The current average rating is far below what it should be I think.

I had an appointment for an asthma review and flu jab. The nurse was amazing and friendly. She was informative and also chatty so the room wasn’t stale.

Didn’t deal with reception on this occasion as I checked in using the screen. The screen prompted to hand sanitise and temperature check (twice) but the sanitiser was out of order and there was no temperature gauge. Feels a little over the top considering we’re out of the main stretch of COVID now and I was the only person there with a mask on… I didn’t necessarily want to wear one as I don’t elsewhere but always make the effort for doctors and hospital appointments. This isn’t really a negative though.

The receptionist I called to make my appointment was super quick and easy to deal with. Booked my appointment right there with no quarrel. They even knew who I was straight away which was nice and easy.

Only real downside to this GP Practice for me is that they don’t allow you to book appointments online through Patient Access. I’ve been at many GP’s previously and the same with my partner and we’ve always been able to get routine appointments on the evening before. This should definitely be added!!

I am new to this surgery and after my first visit will probably be registering somewhere else.
I came in because I was incredibly unwell and wanted to check that there was nothing more sinister at play with my chest pain.
The appointment got booked straight away even though the standard ones had all gone, the receptionist could hear how ill I was and gladly found a space for me. That bit was fine, it’s the appointment I have issues with.

I arrived and was called in early (a bonus I thought), but the doctor that took me through continued to open-mouth chew gum while dealing with me. She also had two computer screens in use, one of which had about 25 tabs open as she was shopping for a new fridge/freezer! No attempt to close these down for my appointment or tidy the room up which was also messy.
She then listened to my chest in the usual places but then put the stethoscope on the fleshiest part of my breasts (which are not small)- never had that done before, nor do I think it’s correct or appropriate! She also didn’t sanitise her hands before touching me or any equipment, or put gloves on…

She then clumsily offered me a sick note but no advice on continued home treatment or whether there was an appropriate prescription, so I enquired about continuing with ibuprofen and was met with “Yes, I guess you can just take that” and a shrug.

It’s all left me wondering whether I actually saw a doctor.
Very messy, unprofessional and the BNF book on the shelf was over a decade out of date!

Disappointed by the experience and in no hurry to repeat.

Things may have changed post pandemic with less face to face appointments but that is to keep the vulnerable safe. I can't understand the negative reviews the receptionist have always been helpful. Sarah the practice manager has always gone out of her way to help when needed and the Doctors have always been quick to refer to specialist consultants.
