I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at st Helier hospital A&E. I was admitted with a high temperature and in a serious condition. Unfortunately, I was forced to sit in a chair for 12 hours, receiving intravenous fluids without a bed. Only after 12 hours was I provided with a bed, but even then, it was located in the corridor. I believe the management of this hospital is severely lacking and that it would be better to close this hospital or change the management.I would recommended please consider different hospital when you're in serious health condition.

The Doctor and the Nurses were amazing to me. As compared to other hospitals in the UK, that I have visited, they have been the best. The asked the right questions, followed the right procedures and made sure they were no injuries left on me. They deserve all the stars they could get.

May God bless them for their hard work, their courage towards us.

Went to A and E from workplace with suspected gallbladder issues. Arrived at 1:30pm, poorly designed triage with no staff resources. Blood tests at 5 pm and results came back at 8pm saying the blood had coagulated so they had to do it again. Cannula and 5 attempts by 3 staff to get bloods. Still sitting in A and E at 03:30 hours. 14 hours of being sick with pain. Eventually told I need the gallbladder taken out. Feel sorry for staff working on the ground dealing with irate patients and this falls squarely on the management of that hospital. Now going to hospital near my home in Eastbourne to have gallbladder removed. Thanking my lucky stars this is not my local hospital. Too big a catchment area, under resourced maybe but poor system management of the A and E department. The managerial group in charge of that area need to be held to task.

ENDOSCOPY. I had an Endoscopy procedure today. The waiting time was a bit long and miscommunication between reception and doctors/nurses resulted in delays for the patient. The receptionist needs to adjust his attitude towards patient when they are enquiring about something, he seemed bothered or very impatient when answering.
The nurses were AMAZING. The ones that i can remember are Liz and Joanna.
Liz is very patient and took time to reassure me and explain everything in details, i asked a lot of questions due to me being extremely nervous and anxious about the procedure. Joanna and her team again were super reassuring towards me and talked me through every bit of it, this made me feel so comfortable and also made me feel like i was genuinely being well looked after and cared for. I felt i was in really safe hands. The after care with Liz was again very pleasant. I want to say a big thank you to everyone in the Endoscopy department at St Helier.
It definitely makes a huge difference for the patient to feel better. The Endoscopy department was very clean and hygienic. Thank you thank you and thank you.

I have had nothing but bad experiences and felt let down by the different mental health services I have used and cried it for in recent times, last night I was bought to a&e after another mental health episode and finally found a team that actually cared, mainly the psychiatric team, led by the lovely Lucy, she was so understanding and made me feel heard finally and actually followed through and made sure I was looked after. As someone that suffers with mental health problems I find it very hard to make any progress and was on the verge of giving up and losing hope l, if only there was more Lucy's the world would be a better place, honedlty never been so happy she has no idea how much she has done for me! Thank you

The worst place to go if you are ill. We arrived at 10 pm and the blood was taken for the test by 10:30 which was super quick however. We haven't seen the doctor as after promissed 4,5 hr waiting time we were told it will take another 4 hr and to sit there all night surrounded by other sick people… we ordered online the medicine we suspected we needed and left. There were people waiting from 7 pm and haven't been called even once by 2 pm… hell not helier…
