Such a nice activity. All the volunteers are lovely, patient and understanding. They know what bike is the best depending on your needs and they go above and beyond to help and to make the ride safe and enjoyable. I have been coming for some time with children who have autism. They love it.
The volunteers are fantastic. The service is spot on and flexible to the needs of the participants.
I also have a friend with sight loss and I booked us on for a session. We loved it. She thought it was a brilliant activity.

Lovely day out, the bikes are amazing! Such a good activity for those less able-bodied, helping make the park more accessible!

However… there were some incredibly rude volunteers, snapping at myself and a colleague, even though they didn’t give us an explanation on where we could/couldn’t access and when to return, assuming this was because my company had used their bikes before, but I myself hadn’t. Volunteers came to find us and became very threatening, implying we weren’t caring for our party which is a disgusting implication when we go above and beyond for those in our care, and then accused us of lying about not knowing that we needed to have returned the bikes by a certain time. The bikes weren’t damaged and everyone was happy, healthy and safe… no need to threaten us and make horrific accusations over a simple misunderstanding, and certainly not doing it in front of our patients. It really dampened such an incredible experience. A little compassion and understanding can go a long way in a customer-facing industry, even if you are a volunteer. Big communication improvements are needed.

You ride around Bushy Park. There were only a couple of tourists on the cycle path the day I went, but it was winter.
