DON'T use this place for the care of your loved ones. This place should not have a contract with the council to provide care.
Relative pressed her alarm for assistance to be told by the carer she had to wait until the floor was swept. One didn't know how to cook English food. One hadn't completed manual handling (she told me she didnt know how to lift) so couldn't assist with going to the toilet or getting up and down the stairs. When carers are told they are not needed. Rather than go on to the next home. They stay and "have a rest". Carer told my loved one to only press the alarm in an emergency. Not for just going to the toilet or getting in and out of bed. They provide tablets but no water to take them. They are very rough when handling those they are supposed to look after. Bruising could be found regularly. A married couple, Mrs was paying for care, Mr wasn't. The carer wouldn't even make Mr a cup of tea. It was clear the carer didn't know how to be kind. From her behviour and actions, to her. Only one of them was paying so the other should do without. They would rather spend time on the phone than doing the actual care, and will only do the minimum.
I have been shocked and appalled that a person can treat a vulnerable person so horribly.

Sanctuary Oasis provided excellent support to my family at a very sad time.
They cared for my Mother in law for several weeks with end of life care. Providing an excellent 24hr live in carer who gave her nothing but the best of care. She was treated with dignity and kindness and the whole family are indebted to them for the exceptional service they provided.
Can thoroughly recommend this Care Agency.
