Took 95 year old friend for a procedure in November 2024, had to wait for it to be done for about 5 hours, all started on time, staff were very helpful. Parking supervisor was also very helpful and understanding, really nice to see someone using his discretion not the usual a peaked cap dictator. 100% impressed by this guy, what an asset to the hospital when people are already stressed with medical issues.
The icing on the cake (excuse pun) was Peaches cafe at the hospital. Lovely home-cooked hot food lunchtime up to two o'clock at very reasonable prices, choice of 4 or 5 different dishes, plus sandwiches, cakes and drinks, again not a rip off price like so many other places right now. Chef clearly wants to look after his customers and attract them back. I'd come back regularly for lunch if I lived locally!
Also good to see concessions for staff prices.
Found out it's now open until 4pm as a trial period for drinks, sandwiches and cakes in the afternoon although not updated on website yet. Just as well I asked!

I have visited all the hospitals in the area for ct scans, but Andover Memorial has to be the best! Easy access, friendly and considerate staff are just some of its attributes. Peaches Cafe for lunch is great, but the star of my visits has to be Andy at the CT Unit! A real professional who makes you feel relaxed and important! Thank you Andy!

I have always found this special little hospital to be amazing. The staff have always been really helpful and polite. I have been visiting this hospital for over 30 years. One child born there, taking over 90+ year olds to regular outpatient appointments, bloods, x-rays etc etc. Every time has been a great experience - thank you NHS for continually finding ways to improve.

Now when going to a Consultant appointment visiting minor injuries, I hardly have time to open a book before being seen, 15 years ago I sometimes for 2 hours. Now if there is a delay, it is for a jolly good reason.

I had an xray, staff were friendly and helpful, however nearly 3 weeks in I am still waiting for the report, I tried several times to phone andover xray department but the phone was never answered, I eventually phone Winchester hospital and was put through to their xray department and was informed that the consultants had not done the reports and that they did not know when the consultant would do the report, we are all busy but still have to do our full job, meanwhile I am in pain and no treatment can be give as we are still waiting

No waiting area, have to wait in your car if they’re not ready for you and have to use stairs for access. But staff are lovely and do all they can to make you at ease and comfortable. Very accessible for car park.

For any others who received an out of date letter for their maternity scan: you don't need to find coins for the car park, there is a new pay on exit system and you can use a card. Also didn't have to pay for my scan pictures. Maternity ultrasound was right at the back of the hospital, took a while to find so allow time. Very efficient when I got in there
