Beyond awful. Some of the receptionists are helpful but largely they're rude, offensive and quick to put the phone down at the slightest provocation. If a doctor doesn't update the records and you are then left without essential medication they refuse to help and start talking down to you, if the doctor's don't perform their duties and you're left with permanent injuries because of their incompetence they refuse to take responsibility, if your sick note goes missing reception will blame the doctor, the doctor will blame reception and you're left missing pay for unauthorised absences that (despite an FMRI scan proving the validity of your claim) according to their doctors they can't backdate, if you try and complain about any of this the practice manager will threaten you with being banned from the surgery and completely ignore any failings on the part of his staff. At least they don't employ people connected with NHS fraud anymore but it hardly makes up for the catalogue of errors. This practice should be a euthanasia clinic they are that bad.

I've been with this practice since I was a child and I'm now 49 and I've never had anything but great health service from them. I called this morning for an appointment and Diana on reception could not have been more understanding and arranged for a same-day appointment, and Dr Mohamed was incredibly thorough, professional and empathetic. Given my partner's poor experience with his practice I feel quite lucky to be on Weaver Vale's books to be honest.

I put in for a prescription via the prescription email, and then the week after I rang am they said they never received the email, strange! Also the staff can be very rude, they have got no continuity with the patient,s you can be polite or rude to them either way the Manor never changes.
Also if ya need medication urgently if its not on their urgent list you don't get it for up to 10 days they don't take into consideration just cause it not on the practice urgent list in the surgery its urgent to the patient an should put it through quicker no questions asked sorry but it is useless at some thing but good at other the doctors are ok it's the reception staff

Currently registered with this practice but I am now looking for alternatives. It's by far THE worse surgery I've had the misfortune to be associated with. Their policy is up wait upto 10 days for prescriptions which you arent told upon registering nor is it highlighted anywhere except on the actually prescription I'm told. NOT useful when they get sent electronically to the designated pharmacy. You can call every day and get a new version of what's happening with your prescription request.
It's sitting with the doctor is the norm, I could have knocked out a 7000 word comprehensive report quicker!.
As with most surgeries getting through via telephone takes on average 30-40 minutes. Press 2 to discuss prescriptions and you get an answer machine saying ' we are busy, don't leave a message then you get cut off'. So you call again and press 1 for reception having waited until 10.30 as per instructions. Only to get a receptionist with attitude as you dare go via the main line, number 1. Your appointment gets moved or cancelled for another week having already waited 3 weeks for that one and you receive this information via TEXT. Not good as people have jobs and have booked that time off but you can't have a conversation via their texts. The whole place reeks of despair. It's like gods waiting room, depressing place. You are asked after each visit to score from 1-10 what the service was like from the GP. I wonder how this affects the overall scores. Example if I'm asked 10 times am I counted as 10 individual people? So I could technically by counted as 20 or so 'persons'. In any case I'm moving ASAP and wouldn't recommend this surgery for numerous reasons.

I have been with this practice for just over 2 years and fortunately have not needed to contact them until recently. I have to say they have been totally brilliant. E-consult responded to in less that 24hrs, yes it does take a while to get through on the phone but it does at all surgeries as they are just so busy. I have nothing but praise for the reception staff who have to put up with an awful lot from impatient and rude people but do so in a totally professional manner. The nurses are great and the doctor who dealt with me was really understanding and listened to me. She dealt with my problem really quickly and put me at ease straight away, I can not fault my treatment from the surgery at all and would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Been here since moving too Runcorn, found some of the Doctors to be nice. The receptionists lack empathy and are pretty cold in their manner. Trying to get a relatively simple health issue prescribed is very difficult. E consult seems a waste of time to be then told to ring, then when I do no appointments. Pity the Drs don't know how there instruction to ring for a phone appointment is not so straightforward. Got to be an emergency? If I had an emergency I'd phone an ambulance not wait all day for a phone back!

I have not had a problem with this practice for years.Until one very rude receptionist was nasty to me in front of my daughter.Gladly she has now gone and the new girl is polite and professional.

Doctors are great. Getting an appointment is a joke even for your child. Receptionists are appalling rude, arrogant and poor customer service. Im aware they probably deal with some rubbish but thats no reason to be such rude, horrible people. The lot of them need sacking and hire some less bitter and compassionate people.
Just updating now in 2022 and no change, half an hour wait in position number 1 on the phones to be told its an urgent care matter, which the NHS website states it is not and I should see the GP. Waste of time.
