I found Kate to be really friendly. She was also very attentive and compassionate towards my circumstances; she listened and built me up which made me feel bright and positive. She told me what bloods I’m having and explained them to me and said that I can check my blood results on the NHS App. She also told me that she knows all her patients in her list which made me think that she takes her position very seriously. I could tell that she genuinely cared, which I really appreciate. Thank you so much.

I've been at this surgery all my life, today I had an appointment to see Sister Susan Sharrett for an ongoing issue. I felt Sue listened, showed empathy and acknowledged my concerns. She was able to clearly explain my diagnosis, we discussed treatment options and decided on a treatment plan, I have never been allowed an opinion on a medical treatment plan before, this allowed me a degree of control over my own body. I left the surgery feeling positive and understood.

I had a further interaction with Vicky on reception who was able to deal with my query quickly and efficiently.

I saw Katie today, and to be honest I was not happy with a situation in relation to a referral (which to be very clear is beyond Katie's control), she listened and empathised with me and although she may not necessarily be able to solve the problem, I am 100% certain she is doing everything she can. She is very motivational and really shows that she genuinely cares about people.

Had a appointment today to see Sister Susan Sharrett and can report that it was a very pleasant experience. For once I left the doctors feeling I had been listened to and all my concerns addressed by someone who actually seemed to care about my situation - something I have rarely experienced when I have seen a doctor.
However, generally things seem to have improved a little at the surgery. Telephone waiting times are not quite as bad ( outside of peak times) and staff are much more pleasant than in the past.

I generally haven't needed to use the doctors very often over the last few years but this last week I haven't been very well. I called monton medical at 8am this morning to book an appointment. I was 9th in the queue but my call was answered and completed within 10 minutes. I spoke to a very polite receptionist who asked some questions and got me an appointment with a doctor at 9. I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving given a prescription and I was done within 10 minutes. There are alot of negative reviews on here and I appreciate not everyone has the same experience: however, I have been at this surgery since I was born and I have never had any issues when I have needed to see a doctor and the service this morning was outstanding.

The biggest thank you to Vicky, the receptionist, who has been the most enormous help to me in the past 6 months. I’ve had many issues with getting my medication with multiple GPs, and I was at my wit's end. Vicky guided me and went out of her way to help personally call people and speak to GPs at her surgery and where I was based in Stockport to get me a solution I so desperately needed. She always put a smile on my face when I was crying on the phone to her, and now thanks to her and Dr Rhodes, I have got a medical plan in place and I can finally sleep peacefully at night knowing I have the best support.

I can’t thank her effort. She is an absolute angel sent from heaven; she deserves the world, and Monton is so lucky to have her!! I wish I could take her with me to my new GP practice. Thank you, thank you, thank you Vicky!
