Had an appointment at 11:50 for physio on 1st floor, received an SMS that states the maximum late in can be is 10 minutes, arrived at 12:00 on the very dot and reception told me that there's "nothing she can do about it" even though I wasn't late and did everything that I can and everything that they said.
Waited months for that appointment and took great care on time and their instructions to not be late, down to the very second.
Next appointment is in months and I am very anxious that reception will reject me again.
Left in tears, I truly feel helpless and I don't know who to tell what to do.

Dr Salim treated me with upmost compassion today. I have had very bad experiences with GPs in my last practice, so most of the time I avoided contacting the practice but this consultation was really reassuring for me as I know my new practice hopefully will be much better. He really listened to my problems which is what we need and want as a patient specially patients with MH problems. Also he was really respectful and I liked the way he conducted the consultation with a fellow colleague. I was able to express my feelings and my problems without any hesitation which I feel most of the time when seeing a doctor.

Lesley is very sweet, kind and gentle. And indeed she is very experienced in taking blood samples as I have deep veins and she was able to find and collect blood sample today for me. She is very efficient in her job and mindblowing person.

As someone who used to dread contacting my previous practices and would often ignore my health concerns as a result, due to previous dismissals and barriers to getting appointments; The Quays Practice has managed to restore my faith and encouraged me to take better care of my health, addressing any concerns I have.

Every single member of the team I have encountered in the practice are absolutely lovely and always so welcoming. The receptionists are always really patient and accommodating whenever I get in touch.

Every appointment I attend with each practitioner, I know I will be met with compassion and people who actually care about ensuring I am in good health/feeling supported.

Lesley always goes above and beyond whenever I’m there, and always making me feel at ease. You can really see how much she cares about everyone who enters those doors.

I always leave feeling reassured and well informed. Thank you to all of you for restoring my faith and I hope to be with this practice for as long as possible 🙂

Update: I did receive a follow-up call from the practice apologising for this mix-up and I did appreciate their efforts in ensuring their quality of service. I'd just like to point out again it's the less than polite manners of one particular doctor (in the telephone consultation) after cancellation of my face-to-face appointment (upon arrival) that aggravated the whole situation. Booking an interpreter who's not needed was really not my main complaint. (30.11.2024)

I was scheduled a 9am appointment and only when I got to the practice that I was told it was cancelled and would be changed to a telephone consultation. Please note that I had to take time-off from work for this morning's appointment and why didn't the practice call me when it opened at 8am? As if it's not bad enough, then I received a call from an interpreter (please note that I never asked for an interpreter while booking the appointment). When it was sorted, the doctor then called me. Not realising her own heavy accent was the issue, she even asked in a less than polite manner, 'do you need an interpreter or not!?' when I couldn't hear her mumbling and asked her to repeat twice. Please, if it's the doctor's own thick accent, please do not blame the patient for not being able to hear you clearly.

Every time I have been seen at The Quays I have been spoken to by a doctor on the day of calling with a face to face appointments available not long after. I have had bloods here numerous times and every single time Lesley is lovely, she really makes me feel at ease and always gets it first time where a lot of people can struggle as well as explaining things when I have questions. Prescriptions are always done quickly when submitted online and where there has been medication issues I have been called by the pharmacist and they have sorted it out very quickly so I don’t miss doses. They have gone above and beyond for me including getting copies of all my medical records which was massively appreciated. An excellent practice and one I would recommend to anyone living in the Salford area

Excellent GP practice. Extremely well organised and responsive. I haven’t been registered to other practices in Manchester but I have in different parts of England and this is by far the best. The doctors are very helpful and quick to resolve whatever they can, as are the reception staff.

The place to see GP this morning at M5 3PH. The doctor Ngozi Moneke saw me .
She was very nice and helped me get a referral to a cardiologist and a breast department.
The staff at the reception were also very polite.
