Fill a form in online to see a doctor as i think ive got tonsillitis and I can taste bloody. Been told off GP to go pharmacy. Couldn't tell you the last time I actually seen a doctor at kearsley medical. Went down hill fast after Doctor Wall retired.

This place is a disgrace from top to bottom. Booking appointments to seeing an actual doctor is an imposibility, I had to wait 50 mins to see a ACP, only to be asked well what treatment do you want🤣.
This place clearly needs a CQC investigation into its practice and into the competence of the practice manager, who for as far as I can see has the intelligence of a glass if water.

For the third time this year I've been disappointed with the service I've been given by this practise.
First of all asking for injections to travel after many earlier attempts when I didn't have time to wait on the phone to make an appointment I was told my injections needed to be called for 2 months in advance (I was six weeks in advance of travel) when fellow travelling companions at a practise in another area of Bolton had no problems two weeks in advance to get their injections and I was informed by one of the travellers who works for the GMC that these vaccines are always in-house at the GP practise ?
Second problem having read on social media that Kearsley medical center where taking part in the lung cancer check that was taking part at a mobile unit on Tesco's carpark I called to ask if I as an ex smoker could get an appointment only to be told that Kearsley medical centre was not involved and to call Farnworth Health center who where far from impressed by my call and didnt understand why I'd recieved this information from Kearsley. I then with some searching and checking managed to arrange this appointment for myself.
This morning whilst not expecting to receive the medication I've been given for years to help with panic attacks and anxiety ( I appreciate I'm older and medical procedures have changed!) I was told there was no other help for me unless I went private or perhaps contacted a travel clinic for support.
So much for empathy and understanding checking if a possible other medication could be considered.
I have been at this practise since I was born other than the years working abroad and over this time had treatment from some fine GP 's who went out of their way to help and understand their patients Dr Wall springs to mind, those days are sadly gone and perhaps it's time for me to check out what else is available in this area.
Whilst understanding the pressures within the NHS surely the bottom line is understanding and the care of your patient.

This is honestly the best Dr's surgery I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient at. They are responsive and caring. We haven't ever struggled to get an appointment or phone call if we need one. The way they responded to the urgent needs of our young son was just incredible and so comforting.

I cannot understand the negative reviews that get written. I think we can assume they are written by self-important, arrogant idiots with lofty expectations about what they deserve. Pay no notice, Kearsley Medical Centre is brilliant.

Personally I have nothing but good things to say about Kearsley Medical Centre. Recently my mum received some difficult news and Dr Moran took the time to telephone her to ask how she was getting on with the referrals and further tests. My mum was really touched to hear from the Practice and so was I.

Regarding my own experience, I find the reception team extremely helpful. I don't have any difficulties accessing appointments or getting through by phone. Any health care concerns of mine have been swiftly and appropriately dealt with.

Can't fault this surgery! When my little one was poorly they got him registered, did a phone appointment and saw him all within 3 hours.

The reception staff are all lovely and have been so helpful.

I've never struggled to get an appointment both over the phone and face to face.
