Concerns about the function of triage.Attended yesterday with granddaughter who has cut on leg,Triage staff looked totally uninterested,(I had seen these two last month after a fall,ditto) took her temperature and oxygen level,never asked to see cut! WHY NOT? Cut couldn't be stitched because of tissue loss and needs plastic surgery. We waited hours to see a very nice practice nurse but no doctor.He applied dressing to the wound (which fell off later)as I thought it would and I had asked for a spare dressing to take home.He told me they could not supply stock to me and to come back if it fell off.No way do we want to wait for triage again.Off to hospital Monday.Main concern is the triage procedure. They had no idea how severe the injury was as they didn't ask to look.Unbelievable.

I went to the urgent care on 20. 01.25 . From the lovely receptionist through to the triage and then seen by the clinician after only 2 hours , I feel they deliver an amazing service, everyone one was very nice and I was given medication to help with my chest infection .Huge thanks to them all , your care was much appreciated. 😀

21 October, 6 pm, young child with fever, wheezing. Was seen by "triage." "What's the problem?" - wheezing. Her assistant quickly checked oxigen, ... she is fine. Out! 3 min. total appointment.

I understand there may be shortages of doctors, no prescriptions this evening..... But she even did not look at the child, not to mention asking her how she was? She literally did not say a word to her! Or checked any of her symptoms. Nothing. So rude and hateful! Whoever this lady was, I wish her the same treatment one day.

If managers ever bother to look at these reviews, can you please at least give your people ome training! And employ those who do not hate people?

I must add 2 years ago. I was seen by a real doctor at the same place, and they were good, but it was during the day, though. Bad luck.

I have visited the Walk In Centre twice for a new dressing for an infected ulcer on my foot. There was a wait on both occasions after Triage which is expected and both times advised to go to A&E as still infected. I wasn't aware of the infection. I have had a big toe off but could have been worse if not told to go.
A big thank you to the staff.

Excellent service from the initial phone call, reception staff and the wonderful nurse. Took only 15 minutes to be seen and prescribed antibiotics. Thank you.

Went to walk in centre as I'd had a bad cough for almost 3 weeks. It was advised that there would be a 2 hour wait which was extended to 2.5 hours, then an emergency came in and was told wait was delayed longer. But once seen was treated so kindly and not rushed at all. Would like to thank all the staff there for their hard work. We were there just over 3 hours but was given anti bionics and am now on the road to recovery.

Absolutely first class service/treatment from the moment we walked in until we left. Alison on reception was very welcoming friendly and helpful as were Becky and Nicky (triage) (I have a infection in my leg and was prescribed antibiotics).

We were in and out within 10 minutes!
Huge thanks to such wonderful staff.

Excellent care from the Widnes Urgent Care/Walk In Centre this morning! I attended with my son who is 16 and has a Learning Disability. We were seen in triage and the Nurse was very aware of my son’s needs and that waiting for long periods would be difficult for him. We only waited for a short time before we were seen by a lovely GP. We received excellent care, including the Pharmacy department who were friendly and efficient. Overall, an excellent experience with minimal distress for my son!
