I was in and out of hospital for 2 years. Then I came to Glenhurst Lodge. I fought with them for months but they never gave up. The staff are friendly and very caring and really help you with what ever is causing your distress. Now I am being discharged and I'm so happy I came here. Thank you Glenhurst.

I have a freind who is in here currently was forced to changed his life when he didn't want to which in my eyes is a waste of money not only that he has changed dramatically which is good cant fault that at all but the faults in its complex and needs of glenhurst lodge for males is from my perspective is there is no connection or communication between staff and the vulnerable people also no gym or health facilities to keep there minds actively motivated which is a deterrent on the mental health part I find this worrying considering my freind has been gone for almost a year passed about with no advice from his workers or appointments on time kept track of he is in the system but forgot about we call him regular and he sounds great but he says there leaving us they dont bother with us they leave us to own devices wont book appointments when asked also the fact that hes had no info on release or what's next we want to help him get a place to stay with us at our home he has no parent that can act on his behalf which I find disturbing considering his mum is alot worse this guy is eccentric clever he nos what he wants out of life and now feels lost in doubt of release de to be ming so long with out being able to speak with friends family go places keep fit as such there is nothing in this place to educate or keep them healthy the food he says is great but need to be bigger portions I'm worried myself for his health and wellbeing of being left in a place where he is forgot about he wants to get out he wants to live his life he wants to speak with workers on the building who are dealing with his case but no help no idea of anything all I geg now is dont no tk every awnser or they haveng seen me except for schooling such as drug rehabilitation which states on your website 12 to 18 weeks this guy needs to be released he is losing a forever ending battle that cant be won till someone stands up for him.its ok mark we have your back and will do what we can to help you and your welcome to stay xmas since we not seen you last xmas because you was in another clinic stop passing him on let him free he is welcome here with us.
