I've lived in Wymondham 12 years now have always found this medical centre to be first class. I've got two young children and for what ever reason my family have used these over the years I've always got appointments when I've needed them and staff have always been good. Yes I've been there on busy days and things run late but it's so minimal. I hear about other Surgeries around Norfolk and can't think but how lucky we are

This practice allows the help hub (South Norfolk Council) access to your medical records and personal data. They won't actually tell you this. It's a big secret until you find out GDPR has been breached. When you try to get answers to this breach, they'll do what they can to cover it up.

The help hub will just help itsself to your data without reading any consent form. The help hub will then speak to whoever they like about what you've spoken to them about.

Had a brilliant experience here. A very quick appointment and the two nurses Ms Smyth and her student were very friendly and great at removing some stitches. Would highly recommend.

Asked for an urgent appointment with a doctor and was seen within 10 minutes! Excellent service, polite staff, doing a good job in tough circumstances.

Have had an ongoing skin problem since having what was suspected covid / long covid.
lost my work my health etc. had about 3 gps second guess what the skin issue was, simply guessing, was told a referral would take too long…, endless Antibiotics that just made my stomach worse.
No referral, paid for my own referral, yet another guess by a specialist for £200. the nurse gave me some hydrocolloid dressing that help it. yet when I ask for it on prescription they want to know WHY and WHAT FOR.. can you believe e it? to add insult, they prescribed some a few weeks ago but not the right ones..
Also i saw one male doctor who told me the GP i had seen a few days earlier said to him in the corridor that she couldnt see a skinn problem!. even though she took some pictures. its some sort of joke.
That’s not to mention the rest of how ive been treated. No wonder they only have 3.6 / 5
They only have to read the notes and look at my requests.

I raised a concern in February about the medication I was taking for my mental health, I was concerned that the medication was making my mental health worse and raised this issue with this practice. I then wasn’t seen until June, I attended the surgery hoping that a change would be made to my medication and it wasn’t. I was then told I would need another telephone appointment? This wasn’t available until August. I found this shocking as a person that doesn’t often need the doctors I have waited nearly 6 months for a appointment and feel totally helpless. This isn’t good enough and I have now gone private as I cannot wait any longer. 6 months is too long to wait for someone with mental health problems.

My experience over the last 10 years with my family has been incredibly positive.
The reception and prescription staff are all excellent, kind and very helpful. The doctors have always given us the time we need and as much information as we can retain.
No enquiry has gone unanswered. These are incredibly tough times and this practice has been incredible throughout. Thank you.

Three times in the last few months I have sought advice from the GP regarding my baby. Twice I had a same or next day appointment, and the other had a phone call with reassuring advice. I can’t fault the service provided and feel grateful to be in the catchment of such a practice, PAs and GPS alike!
