A really good practise, the nurses and the doctors are thoroughly well trained and up for diverse conversation. The receptionist staff extremely helpful, there's a good size waiting room plenty of parking around the back there are books and other things to keep your children amused all in all one of the better doctors in the area. There's a pharmacy next door for your prescriptions to be filled. There is a bus route about 5 to the hour outside the doctors into the town centre the 106 for those that have trouble getting to the surgery.

I turned up to get my prescription at Holly Road pharmacy, and they did not have it, but the people on shift in the surgery sorted everything out for me as there was a lot of confusion between what the pharmacy told me and the surgery were saying as to where my prescription was. Bottom line is the surgery staff were correct as to where the prescription was.excellent in sorting things all out, cannot praise them enough. pleasant professional and with humour.

Partner found a lump, female doctor in surgery insisted there was nothing wrong and all women are "different down there" proceeded to have a go at me - I found it and was deeply concerned.
Turns out - after we got it checked out at another area, when we moved - the lump was a severe prolapse which had worsened due to no treatment.
I also visited once after having chest pain - highly stressful life working in healthcare... The doctor suggested I go for a five mile run every time I started getting chest pains... Or doing 100 push ups... Now I wouldn't say I'm a fitness freak but seriously?!

It's insane how unhelpful the receptionists are here, honestly never even felt compelled to leave a review in my life until now. People are normally calling in and struggling with either physical or mental health issues - and thads the problem, if your receptionists don't care or have any empathy skills, that means they are actively ADDING TO THE PROBLEM. I swear these guys make me feel like I could run the country, and im dumb as hell.

Awful you can never get an appointment on the day. When you call to pre book an appointment for when you’re off work that’s impossible to be told to call on the day only. When you call on the day dead on 8am and speak to the receptionist you’re told all appointments are gone. This is all the time it’s impossible to see or speak to a doctor. There is never any availability time to find a new doctors as pointless being at a clinic that you can’t get seen at ever.

Whilst many doctors surgeries are competing for the prize, this has to be the worst surgery known to man. Awful, arrogant service from start to finish. No wonder the NHS is on it's knees with surgeries like this one being allowed to practice.

I'm so impressed with this surgery. All staff from Receptionists on the phone to anyone face to face, including the Holly Pharmacy team are so helpful & friendly.
I was being made an appointment for Saturday morning with a Nurse Practitioner but was then asked to come in earlier, that very day due to potential chest infection. Within 3 hours of my phone call (i was initially number 28 in the queue that was answered with me a number 1 in 16minutes - amazing due to how swamped they must be!) I'd been seen and assessed by a lovely, friendly, attentive doctor, diagnosed & treated, with my medication being sent directly to the pharmacy. A fantastic service and positive experience when feeling so unwell.
What a fabulous team - you all work so hard and are much appreciated

Received a text today to book a hypertension review. Called straight away to get an appointment to be told "there are no available nurse appointments, we will put you on file and call you when there is one available " . Oh, won't hold my breath....
