I'd just like to say a huge thank you to pulham doctors surgey yesterday I had abdominal pain for a while and I called at around 11am they offered me an appointment at 4.10pm same day, I got there and saw Emma, she was amazing.
I had by the time I arrived googled everything and worried myself that it was something nasty!! As you do 🤦‍♀️.
Emma was very informative explaining everything to me very well, she was kind, happy, communicated with me and treated me like a person, I left there feeling so much better about everything, I honestly felt like I wasn't just a number and not cared for It was actually one of the best experiences I've ever had at a doctors, saying that I saw Jeremy a few months ago for the same thing and he was amazing too.
Thank you so much, all too often we go to doctors and they take bloods and samples etc but we never really know why or what for or what they are thinking etc so it leaves so many questions and worries , this was deffinately not the case with either Emma or Jeremy, I honestly am so grateful, thank you 😊

Management needs replacing. Two sides to any review but this is our experience as a family.

I do accept Ulcer are a complex with every patient being unique. With a long path to recovery watching the treatment to family these past years and in particular recent weeks has been awful. Especially alarmed over the practice conduct from management.

Two years of "alleged care" for a small ulcer with various creams that block the skin and bandages probe to slip or react. Never have they washed the leg?

Despite never being tested as diabetic or allergic to plaster until the final weeks. The leg is now one large open wound, a fit healthy family member has lost his social life, ability to drive and in constant pain. Being old fashioned he does not want to burden anyone yet now the problem is very serious.

This has put a burden on 999, inadequate supply of dressings or medicines over the weekends. Multiple call outs has raised an internal complaint on the practice for not supplying the correct plan or pain treatment which is only suitable for lower back?!

Had things continued the only option would be amputation or death perhaps as a pain free release with this practice.

The nurses and front reception staff are lovely, but one of the senior team is a bully to team members being rude to patients throwing bandages across the treatment rooms. ignoring the input of team members or the patient in front it’s something you’d encounter at school not the standard of health professionals.

Simply No care taken with dressings causing more pain. Approaching the practice manager for a positive plan they are unavailable at first in a "meeting" whilst being in full view drinking coffee behind reception?

The only solution is to explore private specialist care and find a new local surgery. Even politely giving notice they cancel future appointments for a final dressing change saying it’s not a burden or cost they wish to cover unofficially.

This action demonstrates the lack of professional integrity. management style of this surgery does lack compassionate care.

Our family were privately buying dressings as not enough were given. Not everyone can afford to do this.,

If you have an ulcer or in pain take note of this experience to avoid the same outcome. Ensure you engage for adequate materials and a plan of action for your loved one.

Saw Sarah on reception today. She is a huge credit to the surgery, she listened, was interested, kind, smiled, and had empathy when dealing with my query. Some of the other receptionists could certainly learn from this lady!. Well done Sarah, keep up the good work.

Had a lovely expierence taking my poorly daughter to see Nurse Practitioner Emma today. She's a credit to the surgery.

Always able to get an appointment the same day which is great from the reception team.

Previously had a terrible expierience with Dr Mondol, he was 45 minutes late for my appointment time, no one had gone in or out in that time and when we did eventually go in he was so loud the entire waiting room could of probably heard my personal information. Wouldn't recommend, highly unprofessional, he stopped half way through to take a phone call from his Son, other patients records were able to be seen, nearly reported to CQC.

My wife and I have been at this practise for many years and I can say that we’ve always been more than pleased with the standard of care we’ve received. All the staff and Doctors are excellent. It is easy to get an appointment. For example just four weeks ago we were on holiday abroad, when my wife developed some worrying symptoms. We rang the surgery while still abroad and arranged an appointment for as soon as we got back. After that the Doctor arranged an emergency referral to the hospital. And as a result of that letter, my wife was called by the hospital and got an appointment there within days. All on the NHS, wonderful treatment at the hospital as well. And to complete the story. My wife received good news at the hospital too

Cannot ask for more.
