I have had exemplary attention at Debenham during covid etc and after care for various small operations for the last 10 years plus but sadly last week I wanted a face to face with a Doctor to ask and discuss a rather troublesome problem . Fto F didn't happen and after a very unhelpful conversation with a Doctor I felt very unhappy I have no idea really what I can do his parting remark was "well probably mean a back operation" how does he know that ? He was in a hurry to put the phone down and I am still not sure what my next thing should be . This is a one off but I have seen 3 Doctors I the last 2 months all I am doing is popping pills and feel very let down sadly if this established Dr is overworked for his age maybe he should retire

Very poor communication between receptionist nurse and staff throughout. When I complained told I was rude. Are you not allowed to make a complaint when told the same thing two days running and the same problem arises ?

brilliant surgery and doctors/nurses! Our family have been really cared for & listened too! We’ve had previous bad experiences at a completely different surgery in different area, and it’s such a relief to be with a surgery that actually cares and listens to you! And it being online is great too! Being autistic I find this so helpful! Thank you x

Want to thank the Surgery and staff for fantastic care of my son in the last couple of months, staff have all been very polite and professional. I have never struggled to get an appointment either telephone consultation or face to face and when completing the online form the response has always been very quick. One of the best surgeries we as a family have been registered with.

Nurses , ground floor staff and Receptionists are GREAT , but as soon as you go up the pay grade the utter lack of interest shown by Doctors who now worry more about their early retirement to go Locum on massive money is very worrying. Their list of Doctors is HUGE but none seem to be in more than odd days ? i assume they pop up as Locums elsewhere for £1750 a day / £950 half day. But what about patients ? who get jumped about from Doctor to stranger Doctor who has no idea of any long standing issues. Its a typical NHS self made disaster.

Always have a positive experience . Always seen on time and never in a rush to get me out. Always managed to get an appointment. in one instance during lockdown I called with a minor problem and received a call back from a G.P within 20 mins. This is the best surgery I have ever been with.

3 years since menopause started. Serious weight gain etc. Have jumped through all hoops. Gym, diet, exercises. Now told I'm not fat enough to be referred, my bmi is not high enough. And told HRT makes you gain weight. But no evidence of this. Feel like banging my head on a brick wall. I'd jump off my roof but I am in a bungalow.

Dispensary at Otley completely disorganised. Put repeat request in and went to collect 10 days later. I had previously had difficulty getting a prescription within a reasonable time so ordered in plenty of time. Medication not ready this time either so had to wait for them to prepare it. Was then told half my prescription wasn't available and they would have to order it in. When I pointed out how long ago I had requested it I was told the prescription had only been printed off 6 days before. Surely that is plenty of time to complete a prescription request. I now have to go without my medication until they can get a delivery! Not a good service.
