Absolutely ridiculous, literally 3 hour wait to get through to reception and then to be told you've got no appointments with a doctor or telephone consultations available.
What was the point of merging multiple surgeries across calderdale ? Your surgeries were a circus show before the merge and its an even bigger 1 now absolute jokers no wonder the A&E departments are ram packed on an evening with 6 hour waits to see a doctor.
You need to get your heads out your backsides and not just sit there to earn money and actually look after people that are ill

I was sent to the Queens Road surgery to have bloods taken as my own practice cud not accommodate me for a further 7 days & I had breathing issues. I don't trust my own practice's admin staff to give me accurate information. So, i personally drove to Queens Road to clarify what i had been told. The 2 ladies on reception - one called Esther and (apologies i have forgotten the other lady receptionist"s name - were very welcoming, accommodating and jointly efficient - there was no attempt to 'gatekeep' services. What a truly refreshing concept! They assured me i wud b able to have blood taken at the appointment and the Phlemotomist Esther said if u want, i can take ur blood now. Excellent, a bitter cold night and i didn't have to return at 7.30pm! Both the Receptionist and Phlemotomist were the type of professional and efficient NHS front line personnel we used to enjoy. My personal view and experience is that they wud make excellent trainers for our floundering NHS services. Thank u.

I went to have a blood test 25th june 2024 extended service, routine check and the phlebotomist left me with a trapped nerve because of bad needle technique and gone and hit group of nerves. 1 week and half later i still have symptoms - pain pins needles burning etc. I put in a complaint to Queens road surgery and demanded the name of the person who did it and still not told. They fobbed me off to say they have passed on the complaint to extended service whoever they are. People like that should not be allowed to treat people! No one wants to be held accountable. The receptionist even tried to say they dont have the information as I am not their patient, however i was referred to them for this blood test, and was treated there. They legally should have details of people they treat!!! My GP advised me it could take 6 weeks to heal and if it don't I have to have further tests done. Absolutely shocking. That phlebotomost needs to be sacked and sued for medical negligence.

I ended up with significant bruising day after test, it took over a week to heal and still got bruise and also trapped nerve on arm from a routine blood test.

I gave them a star but thats because had to put something, I would close them down! Avoid the extended surgery and the surgery are shocking. The information given incorrect tried to fob me off to go see my own GP when they eesponsible! I would not recommend to anyone! Avoid at all costs.

Had an evening appointment, when I turned up front shutter was down so was brought in the back way, an hour and half later left. 3 weeks later I’ve now got £100 parking fine!!!!! Nobody in the surgery mentioned ANYTHING about putting my reg into a machine!!! Absolutely fuming is an understatement. *EDIT* credit where it’s due these issues have since been rectified by the practice manager as they were due to unfortunate circumstances

25 minutes waiting to get through and then get told they are on strike why not Tell me that at beginning by automated message.

Not professional at all. GPs are hit and miss. Better just to go on Google and type in your symptoms. 30 minute call time. Was talking to someone after waiting 22mins and it cut off called again 29min wait same thing again no call back then you talk about being rude to staff. Didn't even bother calling me back. Useless bunch all of them. Oh did I forget to mention the almost 2 minutes long blah blah at the start of the call. Nobody's got time... We're not calling for a car insurance

Excellent services, the Doctors are great! They have even managed my life more than myself with appointments and monitoring my blood pressure, my physiotherapist appointments. Is true the some of the receptionist come across as rude but most times we need to understand the pressure on them and we patients need to listen well too to allow them serve us better.
